Dmitri stood still, raised his head, and looked up at the sky as silence enveloped the surroundings. The noise from before, all the shooting and screaming had stopped. He also had to force his vampires to stop since it was what he had agreed to do when he made his promise to Gaia.

He sighed and turned around. "Let us leave. They will be able to see again in a few hours, we must leave the town before that happens. As much as the werewolves were shielded from the human eyes whenever they took their beast forms, it did nothing to vampires except conceal their very existence from human memory. They didn't have another firm to take, so it couldn't be kept hidden. The vampires would have to be more discreet unless they want another war to break out. 

While the supernaturals made their way back or avoided coming into contact with others, the humans were at a loss. Everything around their homes and streets were destroyed, but they did not know what happened or caused it.
