193. Don't suspect them, Mate

It didn't take long for them to be spotted because they were no longer trying to conceal themselves from the humans. At first, when the humans saw them, they thought they were just regular civilians but when they remembered where they were, deep within the Amazon, they became alert. 

No regular normal civilian would be seen in a place like this and the number was much. They immediately aimed their weapons at them and started taking slow steps toward them. 

The shifters looked at humans without reaction, they just got themselves prepared for any trouble that they might cook up. 

"Who are you and what are you doing?" The one who looked like the leader of the hunters asked. They stopped a few feet away from them as they tried to figure out who these people were. Darren's face looked familiar but they couldn't remember where they had seen him. It reminded me of who he was.
