Royal duke Regulus' clique composed of just 5 members. However, though small, these men were some of the most influential men in their kingdom. 3 were his fellow royal dukes, and 1 was a landed duke. Thus, when talking to Charlton, despite his position of grand duke, they were more candid with their words.

Their conversation began with them asking about how he found his new position, his plans for his duchy, and other miscellaneous matters. It was a bit dull, until they began discussing his reasons for returning at this time. Since no one wanted to talk about his real purpose which to them was obvious, they decided to discuss a more interesting topic.
