My Turn

"Pretty." Rena said as she stared into the flames that had engulfed all of the village. "Reminds me of home."

"Well, we probably could have done a better job saving this village." Lucy said. "But I guess in the end it doesn't really matter."

As they looked over to the mountain, they could see waves of soldiers approaching. They seemed to be marching over thin air.

"That is neat." Joshua said. "What kind of magic is that?"

"I don't know." Lucy said as she stared at the intriguing display. "I have never seen a magic quite like this one before. It is like a barrier magic, only they are using it as a footing."

"Must be a power mage to cast such a spell." Joshua said.

"No." Rena replied. "There are a lot of mages. Can you not feel their mana as they cast? I sense around one hundred or so."

"So, a hundred mages working together made an air bridge for the army to cross the mountains." Joshua said. "That is quite the clever use of spell mechanics. I wish I would have thought of that."
