Aiden immediately pulled Lucien to the table on their left, where grilled meat was displayed. Aiden's eyes were drawn to the rows of unbutchered pork, whole grilled chicken, and grilled ham.
Lucien had a bad feeling as he watched Aiden stuff two plates with the meat, not leaving any space for any side dish or salad. Lucien looked around, trying to see if there are staffs staring but he found no one.
Aiden quickly sat in the nearest table and drag Lucien beside him. Lucien tried to get up to sit opposite him but Aiden won't let him.
"Isn't it much better if we eat opposite each other?"
Besides… I'm worried if I get in the way of your appetite. At his words, Aiden relented. They ate quietly. Lucien was still halfway from eating his favorite fried chicken when Aiden went to the table for a second round.
