Feeling the burn in his shoulder, Gus agreed with Kaya and left to go to the medical tent. In there, he found the remnants of his squad, along with the soldiers who they rescued from the wreckage.

He was sat down into a chair, and after a few minutes his wound was cleaned and his shoulder was wrapped in a bandage. The medical staff worked in silence, choosing not to make small talk with him as he was worked on and only being addressed when they needed to know something about him.
