Chapter 74 - Gold Dragon God

At the current times, Caelum had unified his magic attribute into one singular power that was called [ The One Magic ] that gave him power over manipulation of the world. Fundamentally, Magic could be considered the power to control the laws of a world using magical energy. The key component is understanding and will to bring out most of the magic. 

It was clear that the emotion of love is not [ The One Magic ] rather the perfect union of Mind, Heart and Energy that gave them the power to be master of magic. 

Caelum found it odd that the exact number of magic was 3002 similar to the amount of path in martial arts. It might be coincidences or a clue in understanding the path of the 3002 paths. He recalled that Dao gave the ability to manipulate a concept and embodies that concept when they refine it. 

Though, he had yet comprehended and found a Dao when he was merely a [ Spirit Sea ] and had not reached the [ Transformed God ] rank. Caelum held out his hand and found that the magic split into a duality where black and white akin to a Yin and Yang then spread into five elements before once again branching out into numerous lines. 

It spread through his Sea of Consciousness giving him the power to cast magic without turning a switch. Caelum could use magic in a way that is reminiscent of breathing and could perform more complex magic a lot easier. 

The only condensation of his magic into one had caused his Sea of Consciousness to continuously expand where it burst into a starlight before stopping several hundred thousands kilometers in diameter. He could feel his reach [ Peak Spirit Sea ] rather easily. Caelum was close to shedding his mortal skin into a type of Spiritual body that removed impurities and gave him the power to breath through his body. 

It would let him live only purely by the energy being absorbed by the world and earthly sustenance would be obsolete. He was pleased then helped stabilize his cultivation. He opened his eyes, finding that the Godly Grimoire had expanded into a small galaxy now. 

'I wonder if I could refine it and gain the World force?'

He had the ownership of the Grimoire and connected to his soul yet he was unable to fully draw out the energy within the world. Caelum pushed the idea knowing that it could destroy his mind when trying to refine it into his being. His will or rather his heart and mind would be far too weak to even survive the refinement from unifying himself with the [ Godly Grimoire ].

Furthermore, He can't exactly place it within his Dantian as he's going to need the energy within it to solidify and turn into an inner world. The lifeform within his inner world would in turn give out potential and faith energy that could turn their conceptual belief into one then use a Divine Spark that he has to form allowing him to gain the power to affect the true world. 

Though that would be at the rank of a True God and higher than the Divine realms. He had learned these things when he gained insight after breaking through the [ Spirit sea ] and was more clear than before when he reached the peak stage. 

Caelum believed that it is the same cultivation path as Apotheosis and Martial world. Though, how similar still depends the more insight he would gain. 

'I wonder how strong my Spiritual sense once I gain the Soul Warming Lotus.'

He had the vague idea that his Primal infant would grow significantly once it formed after shattering his Golden Core. Caelum decided it was enough and let the magic assimilated with another. 

At the moment his eyes opened, he could feel the Grimoire dimension to have purified the world's energy and breaking through its limits. Caelum could see numerous stars in the sky and other planets. He spread his senses scouring through the small dimension world where he was fully in control, though had yet grasped its true might. 

'There is so much thriving energy in this world now. It's unfortunate I can't draw them all out but at least it would be enough to fight beings that could pose a threat.'

Caelum stops using his spiritual sense, deciding to head towards the nearby mountains where he had created over hundred thousand clones to train and master their martial art while studying anything that could improve something. 

He has real time feedback from them yet once he reabsorbs them into his flesh instantly causes his senses to acquire an explosive rapid growth especially when he has unseal his special made method that instantly releases a massive amount of pressure while his mind tries to comprehend everything.

The skills in martial arts, arts, magic theory, etc. Everything was being absorbed into his mind and into his [ Sea of Consciousness ] until reaching a bottleneck. Though, the feedback in real time was still weaker when he actually reabsorbed them, turning those training into muscle memories. 

'This is….'

Caelum said feeling the Bottleneck of the [ Eight Great Meridian ] that was near being broken through and gained his new gate. He could feel his blood was slowly changing into something a lot better than mortal blood. It produces a thick vigorous vitally that is capable of turning any elderly man into their prime from a drop of it. 

He couldn't understand the phenomenon but as long as it was beneficial he didn't mind it at all. Caelum finished processing everything and took out a small stick before concentrating that slowly turned the simple stick into a blade without anything added. 

With a simple swing of the stick instantly causes the wind to be silent then causes a sound of whip flicking the air. A nearby tree was cleanly sliced into pieces by the technique of Caelum. 

'Hmmm that was interesting, it's best to continue my clone training until they become obsolete.' 

Caelum threw the stick that disintegrated from being used to slice the tree before creating another set of hundred thousand clones that quickly continue training while he left to continue their journey to find the other dragon god.

Upon arriving at a city port, they quickly were able to sense where the Gold dragon was located and it was in the mountains. Caelum used his Spiritual sense along with his [ Divine Heavenly Vision ] to find the dragon slumbering with a mountain of gold.

'The hell? Is this smaug knock off?'

Caelum remarked upon seeing the similarities to other dragons but this dragon is a lot more powerful who awakens from its slumber the moment it notices the presence of Selene. 

The Gold Dragon God, Viernes merely observing her while Selene smiled, turning her attention to Caelum who merely prepared to fight it. 

"Can you tell me what kind of dragon god this guy is?"

"Gladly, Viernes is the most greediest dragon who only loves slumbering in gold and nothing more. I never see him as a threat beside the other dragon god."

"Is that so? Well, would he be aggressive if we paid him a visit?"

"Definitely. He is someone who sees anyone that dared enter his domain to be a thief and you could imagine what he will do next." 

Caelum nodded, ignoring the fact that this dragon god is neutral would still remain troublesome to deal with once he tries to subdue it. He decided to place some barriers around the town in case it goes on rampage from trying to subdue it. 

'I should try how I fair with my body alone.'

The group headed to the mountains while along the way they were met with bandits who saw the opportunity to steal from them along with trying to steal from a dragon god.

"All of you! Hand over everything!!"

"This woman is fresh! We can have some fun with them before selling them."

"Uhm…hold on, I think I just lost some brain cells. if not wrong, you idiots are seriously trying to climb this mountain and steal from the Gold Dragon God."

"Yeah, what of it!? We have a powerful mage that can remove our presence and get our reward!"

"Shut up and just kill them!"

One of them shouted while Caelum deeply sighed before Mio and Mia looked at each other and nodded before leaping forward and started beating everyone in an instant. He has no plans on killing them since it would be far too merciful while the bandits couldn't believe what they were witnessing as their allies fall like flies under the two women.

'What!? Are they mages as well!?'

It was over in a flash where few of the bodies of his comrade were littered on the ground. They couldn't believe that only two people could finish them off without killing them. 

"No one moves or this woman gets it!"

One of the bandits was able to sneak behind Selene with a sword at her neck. Caelum glances deadpanned before ignoring him, already bored from seeing them fall like flies.

"I said no one mo-"

He couldn't finish his sentence when Selene just walked away, which left him confused since his hand had a knife at her neck then soon realized that his hand was cleanly sliced causing him to scream in pain. 

"Why didn't you just kill them?"

"Nothing, I thought it would be entertaining to give them false hope like they do with their victim. Now then, [ Penance Curse ]."

Caelum infused the racial skill with [ Maveth, The True Death ] to inflict as much suffering as possible where every bandit squirmed in agony that inflicted all the suffering they did to their victims.

He might have some ethical dilemma when he confessed to his family and would understand if they view him differently but Caelum won't regret it. This is the path he had chosen and there is no turning back now.

"Are you a ruthless one~?"

"I am when it comes to an enemy and a Saint to those that love me."

"Can't judge you when I am a dragon who doesn't see any difference between an insect and a human."

"That's understandable and don't see you any differently."

"Now, shall we meet our first adversary?"

Caelum nodded leaving the bandits who would eventually die and crumble to dust while the group arrived at the entrances of the cave where Viernes slumber before finding the remaining bandits with a single mage among them. They quickly noticed them arriving and took out their weapon then pointed at them.

"You! Who are you people!?"

Before Caelum could do anything pressure suddenly went into the bandits killing most of them before everyone was crushed under the dense magical pressure being released from the moment the sound of a loud thump echoed through the cave. 

He was unfazed by the killing intent, staring at glowing red eyes that soon came out of the shadow revealing a glistening golden scale with horns that pointed upward while showing razor sharp teeth. 

"Why do you come here! Leave or die!"

Its deep reverberating voice echoed through the cave while staring down at Caelum who inspected him gauging his power and comparing to Selene. He was below compared to her yet the toughness of his scale was durable enough to contend with her. 

"I am not here to steal any-"

"Liar! I said leave or die!"

The dragon opened its mouth before blasting a powerful golden beam that decimated a whole mountain range causing the nearby town to panic. Viernes did not care less their reason and only relief that they were now gone only to be dumbfounded when the smoke dissipated and revealed them unscathed from his attack.

"How!?"

"I'll just cut to the case, I want to fight you and if I lose then I shall give you a mountain of gold."

"Mountain gold? How can I trust your words, thief!?"

Caelum didn't say anything and summoned mountains of gold before the dragon eyes causing it to glisten with greed. 

"Now, are you interested?"
