Chapter 112: New York War (Finale)

At the beginning of the war, after Eclipse kicked Loki in the head and made him crash into a wall.

Eclipse is staring at Thor, who is doing the same thing to him.

"Loki will face Asgardian justice," Thor says calmly, trying to reason with Eclipse.

"I don't care. The invasion needs to stop," Eclipse replied. He then feels something is wrong. There is magic in the air. 'This is…mirror dimension?'

He can feel a large-scale mirror dimension entrance is opening and blocking something.

Thor nods. He feels the same way. A drone flies by Thor with the message from Captain America. Thor just turns away for a second. But when he turns back to Eclipse, the guy is no longer there.

"Someone called him?" Thor is dazed. He too can feel the magic passing through him before. But it is harmless for him or the mortal. Swinging Mjolnir, he flew toward the highest building near the wormhole.

Eclipse(shadow clone) returned to the command center where the real body is.

"I'll go, you stay," Ryan said as he took back the Eclipse suit from the shadow clone. The shadow clone is unbothered and goes to command the drones in the fight.

"Should I bring it…or not?" Ryan mumbles to himself.

The other 20 clones snapped at him at the same time, "Take it!" They are focusing on commanding the battle. Ryan is being a disturbance.

He became startled and entered his quantum displacement room before teleporting to the mirror dimension entrance that he felt. The entrance is near the Kamar Taj New York Sanctum.

The Ancient one is on the roof of the sanctum, seemingly unmoving from there. She is fighting the gliders from the roof, making Ryan confused. He landed next to her from the sky.

"Master Tilda Swinton, what is going on there?" Ryan asks playfully. The ancient one stared at him without speaking. He gulped and changed his greeting.

"Master Ancient One, what is going on there?" He asks politely this time.

"One of the Fear Lord is basking in the human fear, strengthening himself to break the prison of his master," Ancient One answers calmly.

"That's…troubling," Ryan stared at the entrance of the dimension. He then takes a look at the Ancient One. "Why didn't you go?"

Why did the Ancient One stay here and not fight? Kamar Taj's other masters may be able to hold the Fear Lord back, but they will never be able to defeat it.

"I have to stay here," The Ancient One answered decisively without explaining herself.

Ryan thinks for a while, and he realizes the situation. He became solemn afterward. 'So, the future…didn't change..." Maybe the Ancient one is waiting for the visitors?

There could be another reason why she is staying there, but with Ryan's knowledge of the future, he couldn't help but focus on the thing he does know.

His mind becomes chaotic. The war atmosphere is influencing him, to become more vicious. Sometimes, it's not a good thing to know a version of the future.

The Ancient One kills a chitauri glider using her eldritch magic. She then turns to Ryan.

"Will you help?" She asks calmly. She understands and will not be forcing him if he didn't want to. After all, this is Kamar Taj's business, not his.

"I-I…" Ryan hesitated. True, this is not his business. But if he doesn't help, many mages will vanish today, and the earth's defensive line will be weakened. If in the future they still need to face the purple potato, then the mages will be needed.

After taking a minute to think, he decided.

"I will," Ryan said with determination. The Ancient One nods. She opens up the entrance to the mirror dimension for Ryan. Before Ryan left, the Ancient One warned him.

"No matter what you do, don't let your identity be known to the demons. You only need to hold the line until I get there…"

"I…will keep that in mind…" Ryan said as he started to regret his decision to join the battle there. In his Eclipse magic suit, he flew into the entrance the ancient one opened for him.

After Ryan leaves, the Ancient One sighs. She mumbles about a topic that only she knows. "I am sorry to do this to you, but… the future needs it."

Inside the mirror dimension.

Wong is leading hundreds of Kamar Taj apprentices and Masters to fight the demon horde. Their true battle isn't with the demon horde, but with the Fear Lord summoning them.

D'Spayre. A fear lord created by the dweller in the darkness. The fear lord is feeding onto the despair the people of New York are feeling, and becoming stronger every second. Once he reaches the peak, he can break out his master from the seal, and fulfill his purpose.

The event wasn't supposed to coincide with each other. But, in the grand calculation of the multiverse, some things need to happen.

"Oh my god, is that Venom + Crossbone?" Ryan appeared next to Wong. He saw the fear lord appear. He has jet black ink all over his body. His eyes are red and his nose is like a Red-skull. He wears a destitute robe, with holes all over it.

"You!" Wong is startled. Ryan appeared out of nowhere. After Ryan got him a Beyonce autograph, Wong is now his biggest supporter.

"Protect your mind. Guard is close. Otherwise, you will drown in Fear," Wong said quickly. If the mind is unprotected, then D'Spayre will attack it.

"Fear?" Ryan asks confidently. "Space Marines have no fear," he continues. It's time to roleplay again.

"What?" Wong is confused. Then, he saw Ryan conjure a huge black box. As his storage ring is locked, he returns to the initial ring he got Kai, the small one that only has one cubic meter volume. The clones yelled at him to bring the armor with him before this.

D'Spayre saw the new enemy. A 2.5-meter tall armored man with a huge rifle gun and a chainsaw blade tore through the demon he summoned. He ignored it and continued swallowing the fear from the formation underneath his feet.

"DIE FOR THE EMPEROR!!" Ryan shoots the plasma beam toward the horde of low-level demons. In the Space Marine suit, he felt especially powerful. He jumps into the horde, and brandishes his chainsaw sword at the demon, splitting them in half. Whether it's horizontally or vertically.

He couldn't join in the New York battle, so he let himself loose here. The demon blood bathes the black Space Marine armor as Ryan makes his way through the horde. The demons try to stop him by ripping his armor or biting him. None of them are successful.

He uses his magic circuit to the fullest, as his armor is made by magitech. There are enchantments to protect the rider all over the armor. Not only that, he cast many buffing spells as his enemy is demons. One of the low-level demons here is as strong as the demon contractor he fought in Somalia before. There is thousands of low-level demon here.

"Follow him, hold the line here," Wong commanded the army. Eldritch whip, sword, hammer, and various weapons are brandished by the mages there.

Baron Mordo, a black man with short hair approaches Wong.

"Who is he?" He asks as he uses his staff to cover Wong's back.

"Earth Guardian. He is a friend of the Ancient One," Wong replied. He keeps Ryan's secret. He won't tell anyone about it.

"It didn't matter who he was. Right now he is an ally," Kaecilius said. He uses his short dagger to fight off the demon.

20 minutes in the fight. The horde of demons isn't reducing in numbers.

"What is going on?" Ryan asks. The New York battle outside is being broadcasted to the entire world. Not only D'Spayre is swallowing the despair of the people in the city, but he is swallowing a lot more than he intended.

*Boom* A crushing aura exploded from D'Spayre, making the mages around him kneel. He finally uttered a word to the mages.

"Too… late. I am now… unstoppable," He laughed as he felt his new power. The chaos is intoxicating for him.

Chaos breaks men's souls. Chaos brings the pestilence of demons. His eyes glowed as he looks at the annoying mages who are disrupting his work. He tilted his head slightly toward the armored man who had been dealing the most damage to his enemy.

Before he swallowed the fear and despair, he will avoid fighting with the man. But now…

Ryan's eyes widened from under the Space Marine suit. D'Spayre is inches away from him. He couldn't even see how the demon got there.

*Crack* D'Spayre attacked Ryan's head, which he avoided by tilting his body backward. The demon claw penetrated Ryan's head metal armor like paper, destroying Ryan's left side of the face. The nuzzle of his gun aimed at D'Spayre's chin, and he pulled the trigger. *Boom* The demon flew high into the air as he was hit by a red plasma beam.

"That was close," Ryan muttered. His targeting system and analysis system broke into the attack.

"Find the scepter quickly Kai," He mumbles. He didn't think he could hold the demon for so long. Even with a direct shot to the head, D'Spayre is undamaged. He is floating and grinning, staring at Ryan. Silently, he cast a spell toward the human there. D'Spayre may be a demon, but he originated from a dark mage. No one realizes he is casting. Not even Ryan.

At the same time in New York, Kai just saved the little squirrel and ascended to the epic stage.

"Got the scepter," Kai said telepathically to Ryan. The shadow clones are controlling the battle outside. Ryan won't know what happened until he summoned them back. Kai becomes his eyes and shows him the battle outside the mirror dimension. ALBUS didn't work here.

"Your defense is outstanding," D'Spayre said to Ryan.

"Thanks. " Ryan replied as he cocked his gun. But D'Spayre didn't mean his physical defense or his reflection. He meant Ryan's mental defense.

"I wonder how long you can last under the corrosion," D'Spayre grinned.

Ryan is confused. What is he talking about?

"Aahhh, AAAHHH, STOP, DON'T COME NEAR ME!!!" a member of Kamar Taj mages suddenly screamed and abandoned his position.

"HE IS ATTACKING THE MIND!!" Wong yelled to the mages so that they could prepare themselves. The closest one to D'Spayre had the most intense corrosion. And the unlucky bastard is named Ryan.

"Ryan, I'm in love with someone else," Gwen said to Ryan. She then walks away with someone else.

"You're not my real son," Tim Knight said before he killed himself.

"Give me back the real Ryan," Hiddle said as he brandished his dagger toward Ryan.

Ryan is hearing chatters inside his mind. D'Spayre had brought up all of his insecurity to the surface.

"Fuck," Ryan gritted his teeth. He had never been tested like this. Little did he know, it is only the beginning of his trial.

"Impressive, your mind only shakes a little," D'Spayre said in admiration. He clapped his hand toward Ryan. He then grinned as focused the fear only onto the armored man.

"What will happen when I do this?"

Black fear energy surrounded the armor. Ryan's head felt like it was being split open. He aims his gun to shoot at D'Spayre. He fired up multiple shots, but D'Spayre used a black energy shield to block it.

"F*ck, F*ckf*ckf*ckf*ck, why the F*ck did I come?" Ryan tries to shake the influence out of his mind. He can't even leave now. If he opened up a portal to get out of the mirror dimension, D'Spayre will be unleashed into the outside world. The demon aura is corroding his mind, attacking it from every angle.

Then, D'Spayre appeared inside his mind. Ryan is greatly shocked. The demon strength right now is nearing the ruler of hell strength as he continues feeding the fear emanating from the humans.

"Your defense broke, Hahaha hahaha," D'Spayre laughs madly as he enjoys seeing Ryan's despair. He only broke the first layer of Ryan's defense, but it is enough to make a Saint go crazy. He overloaded Ryan's fears, making Ryan fall into a black pit of darkness.

Wong jumped in front of the armor, using Eldritch magic to protect the impaired man.

"Ryan, wake up!" Wong yelled to Ryan as he tried to block D'Spayre from getting to Ryan. Inside Ryan's mind, he is living out his worst fear over and over.

The Ancient one on top of the sanctum muttered softly. "I'm… sorry."

"Don't!" Ryan screamed in despair as he saw someone ripping Gwen's heart from her chest.

"What do you expect when you give her the armor? You just ensure that she will die at the hand of a Villain. Fate… couldn't be changed," A darker Ryan whispered to his ears.

Ryan tries to attack the man, but he disappeared. The scene inside his mind changes to another. This time, it's Skye, surrounded by a lot of Kilgraves.

"Noooooo," Ryan tries to save her, but chains appear from the ground, restraining him from doing anything. After Ryan sees Skye gets tortured, it turns into the children he is close to. The people he is close to.

In space, Dawn realizes the trial Ryan is going through. That's why he is advancing even at the risk of his life. He needed to help Ryan.

Supergiant arrived at the scene of the meditating Dawn. She smiles as he isn't going anywhere. Did he give up?

*Clash* A battle angel appeared from out of nowhere and slashes Supergiant's body in half. She is invulnerable and can become intangible, but the attack consists of both physical and magical damage. She flew away a kilometer backward, blood on her stomach.

"What?" Her eyes shook as she can feel the pain in her body. The battle angel [DeusExMachina] didn't come after her, but she is guarding Dawn closely. Drops of fresh blood can be seen on her blade.

Kai sensed Ryan is in trouble. He entered their shared consciousness in the middle of flying toward Stark Tower. He saw Ryan sinking inside a black pit.

He grabs Ryan's consciousness and tries to pull him out. But…

"Kuhuek," Kai spits out a massive amount of blood as he drops onto the Stark Tower rooftop. D'Spayre is extremely strong that Kai received a backlash from interfering.

Even though his physical body was affected, Kai still tried to pull Ryan out of the spell.

"Come on, I can't do this by myself…" Kai said to Ryan as he is trying to drag Ryan out from sinking.

"Just a little more," Dawn, who is meditating in space said.

Inside the spell, the Dark Ryan is whispering to his ears.

"You have been scared all along. All these… role…play…" He said with disdain.

"Just cover for you to hide who you really are…" The Dark Ryan appears in front of the kneeling Ryan and pulls the head of the true self.

"You… are… an… aberration… you… shouldn't… exist… you… will… bring… destruction… to the world," The Dark Ryan said slowly to him.

"No, I'm…" Ryan tries to defend himself, but his tongue is tied up. Literally tied up. It became a knot. His mind is hazy. His thought is worsening. Should he... exist here?

The Dark Ryan isn't wrong. Ryan does role play a lot. When faced with an incident, he will turn to Loid Forger, Mandalorian, Space Marine, and more. He is afraid. He didn't think he had what it takes to be a hero.

To have a plot armor around him that can make him have success in everything he does. Always wins in a fight. He wants to borrow the name of these characters so that he too can have what it takes to be a hero. He didn't realize that he did that. He never does.

The Dark Ryan grabs Ryan's face with his finger and pulls him to the sky. Then, he releases Ryan for a free fall.

Ryan finds himself on top of a hospital bed, inside his old body. In his old universe. Like the adventure he is having is just a dream. The people he made friends with are just created inside his mind during a coma. The love of his life…

He almost accepted it.

"No… this is not real!" Ryan yelled from the hospital bed.

Kai manages to pull him up a bit from the pit. "Great!" he muttered. Out in the real world, his eyes are bloodshot, and he can't move. Natasha is protecting him from the gliders attacking them on the rooftop.

"Sir, please calm down. You're hit in the head by a lamp," A nurse breaks into the wards and tries to hold Ryan down onto the bed.

"NO, I NEED TO GO!!" Ryan squirmed as he tried to break free. This is an illusion. He told himself that repeatedly as he fight off the nurses.

In Space. Dawn opened his eyes. A huge surge of magical energy shockwave erupted from him. The energy seeps into the desolate planet land, which the land becomes fertile again. Grass starts to grow around Dawn.

"I made it," Dawn muttered. He enters the mind space without hesitation and goes to help Kai to pull Ryan back.

"You're late," Kai said to the newcomer.

"If I didn't advance, we would not succeed," Dawn said calmly to Kai.

With the help of his other self, Ryan regains clarity in his mind. The hospital room, which is his biggest fear, starts to shatter.

D'Spayre notices that Ryan is breaking free, even after he has fallen so deeply. "Impossible!" He muttered. No one can break free of that. Not even him.

Inside the mindscape. Ryan is standing in front of Kai and Dawn. Even when he had to go through all of his fear, Kai and Dawn never showed up in any of them.

"Thank you for bringing me back," Ryan said to his other self.

"That's our job right?" Kai said happily

"Next time, think more before you act," Dawn scolded him.

Kai and Dawn speak to Ryan at the same time. "Now… Go kick his ass!"

In the mirror dimension. D'Spayre is attacking Ryan relentlessly. But Wong, Baron Mordo, and Kaecilius are thwarting his every attack.

"How much longer?" Baron Mordo asks urgently. It's barely 1 minute since Ryan went under. But 1 minute is a very long time since they are fighting a demon on the level of a devil.

"I don't know!" Wong yelled. How should he know? He is protecting Ryan as the Ancient one asked her to.

Then, Kaecilius sensed it. He grinned and side-stepped to the side. He is facing the demon at that time.

*Bang* A red plasma beam attacked D'Spayre face." F*ck you, you no-nose Voldemort knockoff," Ryan cursed.

He finally breaks free of his corrosion. His mind felt clearer than ever. He also feels like if he wants to advance to Tier 5 in his magic circuit system, he can do it anytime.

He is working together with Wong, Kaecilius, and Baron Mordo in besieging the demon.

"He pulled through," the Ancient One muttered softly before she entered the mirror dimension.

"FALL INTO DESPAIR!!" D'Spayre yelled as he erupted. The mage is thrown back from the shockwave. The Demon runs to Ryan and jabbed his hand at the thickest part of the armor. The chest.

His 5 claws penetrated the armor, and also Ryan's body before they came out of the back. Ryan spits out blood in his mouth, dyeing the armor interior red.

The demon grinned and pulled his claw back. Ryan staggered toward him, trying to catch his breath. There are 5 holes in his body right now. He is actively using the magic circuit simulated Divine Healing energy to heal his body, but the demonic residue of the demon claw is obstructing his effort.

D'Spayre turns his back on the dead man. He wants to kill the other mages before he goes into the real world and releases his master.

*Bam* A red plasma beam was shot at the maximum output, blasting D'Spayre far from the mages and Ryan. The Ancient One appeared next to Ryan at the moment.

"You did well. You can go outside now. They need you out there," the Ancient one said to him. She is opening up the portal for him using a sling ring. It will take Ryan back to his house.

"Wait. One more thing," Ryan said with difficulty. He turns to the demon and presses the trigger on his hand.

"Okay, I can go now. You guys take cover," Ryan walked outside to his house.

"Take cover," Ancient one ordered the mages there. No one died, but many are still falling into the abyss. They will get jerked back to reality with Ryan's help.

"Right about… now…" Ryan muttered as he arrived at his house. D'Spayre who has blasted far away from the mage's position finally stopped. He wanted to chase them back, but he felt there was something sticky on his back.

"What is this?" He tries to reach it. Behind him, the battery where Ryan stored the space energy is stuck to him. *Beep* The beeping sound is quickened. D'Spayre tried to pull it off him, but it was too late.

*BOOM* A tremendous explosion occurred inside the mirror dimension. The energy that can power up 1000 Hydra tanks was struck head-on toward the demons. It attacked his every being, and he had to use the fear he accumulated. The space energy ignored every defense he has and makes him scream in despair.

Then, he is impaled by a 10-meter-long sword of light.

"Sword of Emperor Weishan," The demon muttered. The sword cuts through his soul and he disappears with a scream. The ancient one had banished him back to the hell dimension.

The demon soul is split into three. Two of them will become an origin story for a new hero couple. A girl that uses a light dagger and a man with a teleporting cloak.

...

"Revenge is served," Ryan muttered as he fell onto the computer desk. His blood is polled on the floor. He had taken off his broken armor and threw it to the side. His body is healing very slowly. The hole in his body is barely closing up. He had to grit his teeth to keep his consciousness. Otherwise, he will faint right there. No magic potions that he owned could help him in fighting off the demonic energy. He had to do this… all on his own.

When he falls into the spell, his shadow clone all stops existing. ALBUS and R.Q. had to take command of the battle, but they can barely do it.

"Close the portal," Ryan commanded Natasha in a raspy voice. His vision is hazy, but he can still focus.

"Wait, I got a nuke coming in. It will destroy Manhattan in 2 minutes…and I know just where to put it," Tony said to the channel. The Iron Man is chasing the nuclear missiles and is flying below them. He grabs the missile, trying to change its direction.

"Tony, the sky is full of these things. You can't make it like this," Barton said as he shoots out an arrow onto a Chitauri glider head. His finger is bloody from the continuous shooting.

Kai who is kneeling on the rooftop stands back up. Changing into his Epic form, he dragged his injured body to the sky.

"I'll open up a path," He said.

"Kai… are you sure?" Natasha asks with worry. Kai is heavily injured right now. If he does it, she's afraid…

"I'm sure. Thor, Hulk, help me," Kai ordered as Ryan could barely speak right now. The Captain is protecting the shelter, so he is benched.

On the rooftop, Dr. Selvig still didn't show any signs of waking up. He will wake up in another 30 minutes or so. The war is ending early, but the damage caused is phenomenal.

Tony has to go through 5 leviathans and thousands of gliders to get to the wormhole. The Avengers had to go through one final battle before they could end the war.

Ryan falls flat onto the computer desk, but he can still read the monitor. "Kai, Blue had finished collecting the things you wanted."

"Nice timing," Kai said with all the excitement he can mutter amidst his tiredness. He flew to the streets, where the Brainbots are waiting for him with 100 Chitauri time bombs they collected.

He tied up 20 bombs into a bundle. He uses his companion beast spider silk to do that. He also sticks one explosion orb on each bundle to be the detonator.

"Thor, Hulk, Remove the gliders. Leave the leviathan to me," Kai ordered.

Tony is flying towards an army of gliders when a surge of lighting fried up all of those bastards.

"Go forth, Man of Iron," Thor yelled in excitement as he flew alongside Tony.

"Can we do it with a little less drama?" Tony said in exhaustion.

"HULK SMASH!!" Hulk jumped toward the army of gliders and slapped his hand together. The shockwave of the clap brought down hundreds of gliders with it.

A few stragglers try to attack Tony from behind, but an arrow prevented them from doing that. They exploded midair before they could get in range.

"I got your back," Hawkeye said as he continued shooting his arrow.

"Vera…the leviathans…" Tony yelled. The 5 leviathan is next.

Kai flew toward the leviathan and throws the bundle into their mouth.

"Time for your medicine," Kai said as he pushed the small detonator into his hand. *Boom* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom*

The leviathan's mouth exploded, killing them all painfully. They fall to the empty streets below. The Avengers had done their job. But the wormhole is still spitting out the army. 50 seconds before the detonation!

Ryan got a notification from ALBUS at the moment.

"Sir, the mothership firewall has been breached. The spider drone has planted the virus."

In the Chitauri mothership in space. The small shuttle underneath the ship had done its job.

"I can buy you 30 seconds. Use it wisely," Ryan said to the communication line.

"How?" Natasha is puzzled. Her hand is still holding the scepter that is breaching the tesseract energy shield.

"Enjoy," Ryan said mysteriously.

Around the Knight shelter.

The heavy fire from the Chitauri suddenly stopped.

"What is going on?" Steve is puzzled.

The Chitauri are… dancing?

Hey Macarena, ay-

All the soldiers around the city. All the gliders in the air. Are now dancing.

-Hey Macarena, ay- The Chitauri on the ground are getting into a dance formation. They danced right in the middle of the fight with the police and the Knight army.

"What the hell?" The President is stupified. When did the warfront become a dance stage?

The Chitauri in the gliders too is dancing. They crashed into each other as no one is handling the gliders.

Shield is stupified. Fury is stunned. Some agents start to snicker under their breath.

-Hey Macarena, ay-

"That idiot," Gwen muttered as a smile brewed on her face. Only one idiot will do this.

Tony laughs out loud that he almost crashed the nuclear missiles.

"Damn(laugh) kid (laughs) stop…"

"Sir, focus," JARVIS scolded Tony.

"Should I try Miss Pott sir?" JARVIS asked.

"Might as well," Tony replied solemnly. This may be a one-way trip for him.

Then, Ryan chided. "Don't worry Tony, there is an ally ship on the other side. Even if you get stuck, he can bring you back."

Tony let out a breath of relief. His mood got better all of a sudden, and he enjoys himself by looking at the dancing aliens.

The aliens are gathering at Manhattan Square like a flash mob, swaying their bodies. Ryan had hacked into their transmission channel. Most Chitauri is biomechanical. The true Chitauri is inside the mothership.

-Hey Macarena, ay! -

The aliens stopped dancing with their hands in the air. Tony arrives at the wormhole and passes through the gate to space.

A few seconds passed, but Tony is still not back.

Steve says sadly, "Close it."

Natasha obeyed and closed the wormhole generator device following the instruction Ryan gave her before this. The light beam that headed to the sky stopped, and the wormhole is closing itself.

In Space, Dawn is smiling as he is notified by R.Q. about the virus.

He turns to look at Supergiant who is still fighting the angel. Despite her getting thrashed, she didn't stop. After all, she is immortal. Unless a huge amount of energy is poured into her, she will stay that way.

Dawn decided to end this useless battle as he has already gotten her DNA.

"Why did I go to space in the first place? It is not like there is anything precious inside the mothership storage," he muttered. His mission is to disrupt the army there on behalf of the DOTU, and he did his mission.

The spider drones had crawled into every corner of the ship. They had hacked the data from the Chitauri and transferred it to the Dawn spaceship which was flying nearby. They also searched for anything interesting, but there isn't any of that.

They also carried a portkey with them. The key is connected to Dawn's staff.

"Time is up," Dawn said to Supergiant. He dismissed the summon who is fighting the nun, and the battle angel dissipated into nothingness.

"Do you surrender?" Supergiant asks. Dawn shook his head. The woman has a screw loose. He seems to be surrounded by these kinds of women.

"I got a feeling you're thinking something rude," Hela said to Dawn.

"No, how could I?" Dawn said innocently. He teleported in front of Supergiant and transferred her inside the mothership.

He teleported himself to his spaceship that is flying near the portal, shooting at the leviathans there and being chased by a huge number of gliders. R.Q wasn't idle when Dawn was fighting.

Dawn saw Tony letting go of the missiles. But it seems like the missile isn't going to hit the mothership as they are leviathans in the pathway.

"Clear the way," Dawn commanded RQ as he sat on the ship's command chair. Two missiles flew from his ship toward the leviathans, clearing the way for the nuke.

When Tony let go of the nuke, he saw the sight of the Mothership. It imprinted into his brain. He also notices the nuke won't be able to land on the ship. His breaths quickened. His heart is beating wildly. He was going into shock from the sight when he saw two torpedoes shooting the leviathans from the path.

"This must be the ally.." Tony snapped out of his state. His suit didn't shut down as it did in the movie, but he has no life support to survive in space. That is why he is in shock.

'The kid must never know this,' He thought in his mind as he controlled his breath.

He controls the floating Iron Man armor and shoots out a palm repulsor in the mothership's direction. The inertia pushes him back to the closing wormhole behind him. *Boom* The nuke exploded on the mothership, engulfing the entirety of it.

Supergiant, who is stunned inside the mothership, didn't manage to collect herself before the nuke hit her. "Arghh" She yelled as she disintegrated, becoming a dust particle in the cosmos.

The explosion shockwave hits Dawn's ship, but he already put all of the reflectors up to the maximum.

On Earth, New York City.

The Chitauri suddenly lose all of their power and fall to the ground. Being a collective hive mind, they die when the leader dies. The leader is on the disintegrated mothership, didn't even know what hit him.

Gwen, Khan, Betty, Steve, Bryan, the Knight army, the police, the DOTU, and the Avengers realize that the enemy is incapacitated. They are all dead!

Kai is still flying in the air. He wanted to catch Tony in case he lost consciousness. After Tony returned rth, he stabilized his armor instantly. Kai's help is unnecessary.

"Hahaha, we won!" Tony said excitedly on the communication line.

"Yeah… we won," Steve said as he breathed heavily. He sat on the ground next to the shelter. Bryan is still standing, but he too is breathing heavily. He lit up a cigar and offered Steve one.

"Maybe… later…" Steve said. Although he didn't smoke, it's rude to reject the comrade fighting on the same side. Bryan just shrugged as he didn't have the energy to talk. He just stood there in front of the shelter with a cigar in his mouth.

"You hear that kid? We won!" Tony said to Ryan. But there isn't any answer. He wants to check up on Ryan, but he is called by the Avengers to go and catch Loki.

"Ryan, are you okay?" Gwen asks fearfully. She had been calling for a while, but there was no answer. She controls the armor to fly toward their house.

There, she saw the walls of her penthouse were destroyed by the Chitauri gliders' attack. Gliders and drone wreckage can be seen all over the streets near their house.

"Ryan!" She yelled as she flew into the house through the hole in the walls. Ryan had fallen flat on the table, bleeding uncontrollably.

"ALBUS, call an ambulance!" Gwen ordered.

"Miss Gwen, Master Ryan said not to," ALBUS replied. Ryan grabbed her arm. He hasn't lost consciousness, but he is barely holding on.

"Gwen, bring me to the MediQuick," Ryan said with difficulty. Gwen supported Ryan to get to the room and gently put him on the chair. The chair can support him when he is healing himself. That way he won't die of blood loss.

Once he is on the chair, his condition stabilizes. Gwen is holding his hand tightly, tears are pooling inside her eyes.

"Why… didn't you ask for help..?" Gwen asks as she sobs. Ryan brought her hand who was holding his hand to his lips and kissed it. Ryan didn't answer. After what he goes through today, he just wants to rest, and leave the aftermath to the others.

Kai is called to catch Loki by the Avengers, but he rejects it.

"I am going to the hospital," He said to the rest of the team.

"You should. Get a full checkup, I will be there later," Natasha supported him greatly. Kai flew over to the hospital near the battlefield.

The DOTU lands next to the Avengers. They had been helping greatly in the battle in containment. They are the reason the battle didn't spread outside the evacuated area.

Yelena becomes a representative to talk to the team. The green alien comes out of the spaceship with Meowth by her side.

"We need to go now, our leader is still fighting in the galaxy."

"Wait, who are you guys?" Natasha asks. Of course, the order comes from Fury. Now that the battle is over, he is becoming more active. The tesseract is already secured. Loki is now caught.

"We said it before. We are the Defenders of the Universe. If you don't mind, we want to get out of here before trouble comes," Yelena replied in a soft tone to Natasha, startling her a little.

'They… are so polite?'

"What trouble?" Tony interjected. "Is there still an enemy around?"

"No-o, the trouble with your planet management," Yelena replied. She talks with the human there for a while before she goes back to her ship.

She and the rest of the crew go to the galaxy to meet up with Dawn who is destroying some surviving warships.

"Let's not come in tomorrow. Have you tried Shawarma? I know a shawarma joint a few blocks from here..." Tony said, exhausted.

The war is finally over. Now, all of them want some rest.
