I’d hoped to just slip by him or avoid seeing him at all. I knew that they hadn’t had sex from how quickly after he’d gone up that she had left, but I still didn’t like the idea of them alone in a room together. I didn’t like the fact that she had a key and could come and go as she pleased.

What had they talked about? Did she know that Ethan was Dylan’s son? Was she a real danger to our son? To me?

There were so many questions I wanted to ask and didn’t feel like I could.
