Rumi pinched her nose bridge and took a sharp breath. "I-Rumi-sii, I-" Rumi held up her hand making Wonwoo clam his mouth shut.
"Joahae unnie!" Jangmi shouted drowsily before loosing her conscious again. "Yah, yah!" Wonwoo said trying to get a hold of her. Vernon rushed to his side, aiding him to pull Jangmi on her feet. Both silently stared at Jangmi and Rumi who looked like she was about to lose it.
"I'll take her." Vernon said grabbing Jangmi and dragging her out of there. Wonwoo opened and closed his mouth in disbelief, how can he leave him alone with her. Wonwoo glanced at Rumi, who fuming in anger muttering something in unknown language. Her shirt torn open, revealing her covered bust. Wonwoo averted his eyes, his cheek taking a light shade of pink. Shaking off his thoughts, he removed his own shirt.
"Umm, wear this." He said holding his shirt towards her. Rumi glanced at the shirt and at him turned head. Sighing she took the shirt, she had no option but accept it, thankfully he was wearing a undershirt. She muttered a thank you and remove her own to change and then stopped glancing at Wonwoo, his back turned towards her, ears turned red.
"Excuse me." She said and walked back into washroom to change. "Konta phukat nasib hota majha aaj. (What kind of bad luck did I have today)" Rumi muttered removing her shirt. "Madar-gelya janmat kutri vagre hoti kay hi (Was she a dog in her past life or what?)" She muttered staring at the red marks on her neck in the mirror. Getting drunk was not enough that she had to be attacked like this. Rumi sighed splashing her face with cold water, hoping to sober up. The headache was already coming. "Fuck, how am I getting home, today?" She asked herself wiping her face with her now buttonless shirt.
"My poor shirt." She pouted looking at it longingly before putting it aside and wearing Wonwoo's shirt. Buttoning up, she stared at herself in mirror. "Has Rumi Has (Smile Rumi smile)" She said slapping her face few times before putting on a smile. "Hmm" Nodded to herself she picked up her shirt and walked out of the washroom. Wonwoo was waiting, staring at his feet hands tucked in his pant pockets. Rumi took in a breath before stepping towards him. "I am really sorry, Wonwoo-sii" She bowed her head.
"Aniyo, aniyo." Wonwoo shook his head removing his hands from his pocket. "In fact, I am sorry. If I hadn't pulled her like that then your shirt..." He trailed off looking at his shirt. It looks good on her. What I am thinking? Wonwoo shook his head again, getting rid of his thoughts.
"Oh no. You don't have to be sorry. If it hadn't been you then I would've been in great trouble." Rumi said. "Thank you really. For helping me out earlier and for this shirt." She said smiling up at him. Wow. Wonwoo thought. How can she smile, just like that? Wasn't she fuming in anger before? Unknowingly Wonwoo was staring at her, she really did look good in his shirt. "Umm shall we get going?" Rumi asked snapping him out of his thoughts.
"A-ah, ye, ye." Wonwoo said as both of them started making way out of the alley. "Ah, majda." He said pulling out Rumi's phone from his back pocket. "You kept getting calls. I was supposed to give it to you but..." He trailed off thinking back to the tragic event.
"Gamavo." Rumi smiled taking her phone from his hand. The screen lit up showing the missed calls. Aai (2) Missed calls, Tai (6) Missed calls. Clearing the notification, she said. "No one important."
"Are you sure, it kept ringing for-"
"Ah you are here." Seungcheol said walking towards them. The dinner had ended, most of them had left, leaving few drunks loitering. "Vernon and Mingyu, went to drop off Jangmi." Seungcheol explained glancing at Rumi. "You left your keys on table." He said handing them when he noticed her scanning the table behind him.
"Ah, thank you." Rumi bowed her head, which was a bad decision. The quick movement made her dizzy making her grab onto Wonwoo's arm for balance. "Rumi-sii!" Wonwoo and Seungcheol worriedly called out her name grabbing her arms. "I'm fine. I am fine." Rumi assured stepping back as both of them reluctantly let go off her. "Thank you." She smiled taking the keys. "Then I'll see you around." She said and walked off.
"But-Is she going to be okay?" Seungcheol asked staring at her leaving back. "How is she going back?"
"I don't know. Maybe someone is picking her up?" Wonwoo replied.
"Are you sure? And what happened back there? Jangmi kept screamed 'Joahae Unnie' all the way. Vernon struggled to get her into car." Seungcheol asked. Wonwoo pressed lips together and shook his head.
"Don't ask." He said, his shoulder dropping in exhaustion. "I never felt this exhausted even after performing six-hour show."
"Wonwoo-ya, Seungcheol-ah! Let's go." The manger called interrupting their conversation. "Coming!" Seungcheol shouted back in reply.
"Pick up the damn phone, you jackass!" Rumi screamed kicking the tyre in anger. "Why in world does he have to be busy today?" Rumi cried leaning her head on the window. "Ahhh!" She whined crazily ruffling her hair before kneeling down on the pavement. Hugging her knees, she cursed her fate. As if it wasn't already cursed. "Mi kay bighdavla ahe tujha!? (What have I done to you, to deserve this?!)" She cried staring at dark sky. The passer-by's stared at the crazy lady screaming. A crazy, drunk woman screaming in some foreign language, attracted more attention than an idol walking through.
"Rumi-sii?" Rumi snapped her head towards it. She reassembled the ghost from the grudge movie with her messy hair all over her face. Flicking them aside she squinted her eyes to see who was calling out her name. It was none other than the two idols who she had left behind not too long ago.
"Wonwoo-sii and Leader-nim?" She asked finally able to recognize their faces. Seungcheol furrowed his eyebrow. "Mianhae, I don't seem recall your name." Rumi apologized and no she wasn't pretending to not know. She really couldn't remember his name. There were too many of them to remember all their names.
Seungcheol nodded thinking she might be too drunk. "How are you going home? Is someone picking you up? Or should I call a taxi for you?" He asked pulling out of his phone ready to call taxi for her.
"No. No. I am fine." Rumi replied waving her hand.
"What do you mean? Then how are you getting back? You can't be driving. You are too drunk." Seungcheol argued. She was literally screaming like a crazy drunkard a minute ago. There's no way she's driving back home in that condition.
"I can't leave my car behind." She replied rubbing her forehead. Hyun had left a text saying to he'll be coming to pick up the car from her place at midnight because he needs to leave for Daegu. Even though she had sobered up there's no way she could drive back with the killer headache and there was her suspended license. "I was hoping for someone to pick me up but he's not picking up the call." Should I just leave it behind here, ask Hyun to pick it up from here? No, I can't. She looked at the man urging the customers to move their cars. "Ugh!" She groaned pulling her hair and then groaned again in pain.
"I can drive you back home."
"De?" Rumi looked up at Wonwoo in question.
"Hyung, I'll drop her off, and catch a taxi back to dorm." Seungcheol nodded agreeing. Wonwoo hadn't had any drinks, he could drive her back. "Aarso. Drive safely. I'll inform the manager." Seungcheol said pointing his thumb back to their van.
"Eo? What? But Wonwoo-sii-" Rumi was cut off as Wonwoo took the dangling key from Rumi's hand. "Let's go." He said walking towards the driver's seat. "But Wonwoo-sii you don't have to. I'll manage-" She was cut off again as the passenger seat's door was opened and she was pushed inside.
"Don't worry. He'll drive you back safe." Seungcheol said as closed the door. "Wonwoo-ya, I'll see you at dorm." Wonwoo nodded and pulled out the driveway. Rumi stared at Wonwoo and then at Seungcheol's figure in the side mirror. What is wrong with these kids? Do they all have habit of doing things without other person's consent?
"Where am I supposed to head?" Wonwoo asked glancing at Rumi.
"Seriously?" Wonwoo looked at her. "Forget it." She muttered, after all she needed the help. She pressed in her address on the GPS system. Wonwoo nodded in acknowledgement. Rumi let out a chuckle before relaxing in her seat. "Thank you." She uttered out exhaustedly.
Wonwoo hummed back in answer. "Are you okay though?" He asked glancing towards her. "You looked in pain back there."
"Ah, I am fine. I just have a really bad headache, feels like my head is splitting apart." Rumi mumbled folding up her legs on the seat. "A smoke would be really nice."
"I don't think that's a good choice. How about I make a stop at CVS and get you hangover drink?" Wonwoo said his eyes moving on GPS to look for nearest CVS.
"Gwenchanayo. I'll rest for a while. I am already making you drive; I can't make you go out of your way anymore." Wonwoo was about to assure her that he was not but her phone cut him off. She groaned looking at the caller id. "Why is she calling at this time?" Rumi muttered before picking up the call. "Bol."
"Bol? Is this how you receive call? What is bol? How about a hello? Hi?" A voice said making Rumi pull the phone away from her ear. Wonwoo really felt for her, he could hear the voice from feet apart and the call was not on speaker.
"What is it? I am not really in mood right now? Kya kaam hai voh bol? (What do you want, say it?)"
"Tu kab mood mein hoti hai? (When are you in mood?) You always have something or other thing going on!"
"Okay. Hi, Girjanandini. Kesi hai? (How are you?)" Rumi cheerily said.
"Forget it! You sound so fake." Rumi clenched her jaw in anger. "Anyways, guess what?!"
"What?" Rumi gritted through her teeth.
"Main South Korea aarahi hu! (I am coming to South Korea!)" The other party screamed excitedly. Wonwoo cringed cautiously looking at Rumi. Rumi had her eyes shut, looking calm but her grip on the phone was saying otherwise. Her veins looked like they were about to popped.
"Really! How wonderful."
"Can you sound more excited. Weren't you begging the other day?"
"Oh, I am excited but can we do this some other day?" Rumi begged. Wonwoo looked at her wondering if he should ask her or not? The path which GPS was showing, if he took that then they would catch traffic. He knew another way.
"Umm Rumi-sii.-" Rumi turned towards him. "-is it okay, if I go the other way, we'll catch traffic here." He finally asked after debating over it.
"Ye, it's okay." Wonwoo nodded.
"Kon hai? Who is he? Why does he sound so sexy?" Wonwoo choked on his saliva and started coughing.
"Damn it you bitch! Stop it already. I am hanging up!" Rumi cursed at her friend before apologetically looking at Wonwoo.
"What? No! I'll spam you with calls. Let me know to whom that deep, sexy voice belongs to!"
"You bitch, he can hear you!" Rumi whispered shouted.
"Better! Hello Mister! Can you hear me? Hellooooo!" Rumi pulled away the phone again. That woman was too loud. Wonwoo glanced at Rumi struggling to stop her friend.
"Annyeonghaseyo." Wonwoo greeted. Both of the ladies went silent. Wonwoo worriedly glanced at Rumi.
"Wow. Damn boy, you have deep voice." Her friend said. "I can already tell he's handsome. Okay then, I'll leave you be. Don't forget to use protection." With that the call ended.
"What the fuck!? It's not like that!" Rumi shouted back but the call had already ended. "How can she end call like that-" Rumi angrily said before realizing what the situation had become. Wonwoo awkwardly stared straight ahead at the road, a rosy blush sporting his cheeks. Rumi's own cheek heat up. "I am really sorry about her. She's weird sometimes." Rumi muttered turned away.
"It's okay." Wonwoo replied before both of them went silent. The remaining journey was silent. Wonwoo focused on driving while Rumi angrily typed away on her phone, spamming her friend with curses. Today, fate was not really on Rumi's side.

"Rumi-sii?" Wonwoo softly called out Rumi's name, thinking she might have fallen asleep but Rumi suddenly straightened up in seat.
"Are we here?" She asked looking outside the window before opening the door and getting off. Wonwoo followed suit and got off the car.
"Here." He handed the key. Rumi smiled and took them. "Then, I'll leave." Wonwoo awkwardly said and was about to leave.
"Jamkkanman!" Rumi said making him stop. "Umm. Why don't you come up? I can hand you a shirt. It's cold today." Rumi said looking at his pale hands, she had noticed them shaking.
"It's okay you don't have to."
"I'll feel bad. You have done so much already and if I let you go like this. Ani I can't just, come up with me." Rumi grabbed his hand dragged him to elevator ignoring his denies. As she had thought, his hands were freezing cold, Rumi unconsciously started rubbed her thumb trying to warm up his hand. Poor guy, not only she had made him drive but also taken his shirt away.
"Umm..." Rumi turned towards him. Wonwoo glanced at their intertwined hands. "Ah, sorry." Rumi apologized letting go. "Your hands seem cold and shaking."
"Uh, well I suffer from sujeonjeung." Wonwoo replied rubbing his hand together to warm up. Rumi stared at him with question mark on her face. "Ah, right. Hand tremor?" Rumi made a 'oh' face and nodded her head in understanding. The elevator door opened. "We are here." Rumi said stepping out, Wonwoo silently followed along as Rumi guided him to her apartment, pressing in the password, she opened the door inviting him in.
"Is he not home?" Rumi muttered scanning the apartment. "Please wear this." Rumi said putting out house slippers for Wonwoo and one pair for herself. She preferred walking around barefoot but Korean had an etiquette of wearing house slippers. Not wanting to ruin anymore of her image, she put on the slippers. "Please make yourself comfortable." She said throwing her ruined shirt on armchair and patted the couch dusting it. "Please." She smiled offering the seat to Wonwoo.
Wonwoo nodded making his way but Rumi was standing in middle of his path, if he had to reach the seat then he had to squeezed between her and glass teapoy. "Ah, wait." Rumi said trying to step aside. As one says, sometimes doing something you don't usually do can be troubling. Just like Rumi and house slippers weren't meant to be.
Suddenly Rumi found herself in another embarrassing moment, she had slipped and fallen right into Wonwoo's arms. While Wonwoo had found her waist to stable her, Rumi had found herself something else to grab. It was Wonwoo's chest, more specially his man boobs. "Damn it, these stupid slippers." She cursed.
"Umm Rumi-sii?"
"I am sorry, Wonwoo-ack!" She jerked back letting go his chest. "I'm so sorry! I didn't realize I was squeezing your boobs!" Rumi apologized bowing her head. Wonwoo embarrassing held up his hand trying to cover his dignity.
"Pi."
"Pi? Heh? I didn't squeeze that hard."
"No. Pi." Wonwoo said showing his fingers which were covered in blood.
