At night, Lily arrived at the hospital where Mr. Williams was undergoing treatment. He and Sigmund went straight to Pascal, sitting in the waiting room. Pascal stood as Lily and Sigmund approached him.

"How is Mr. Williams?" asked Lily.

Pascal took a deep breath. "There hasn't been any significant change since he arrived here."

"Matthew is already on his way here, right?" said Sigmund.

Lily glanced at Sigmund. She suddenly felt nervous after hearing Sigmund mention Matthew's name. Pascal looked at Lily and Sigmund in turn. He then nodded his head.

"Maybe he'll arrive tonight or early tomorrow," Pascal said.

Lily swallowed. Lily turned her attention elsewhere for a moment before finally looking back at Pascal. "May I visit Mr. Williams?"

Pascal nodded his head. "You want to see him?"

"If you allow it," Lily replied.
