Chapter 3
"..."
Jean understood his point and suddenly felt a little guilty.
"You just came back from outside. Let me guess, you didn't have lunch today, right?" Jason suddenly asked.
"How did you know?" Jean was a little flustered.
"I've known you for almost a year." Jason spread his hands. "If you were staying at the Knight's office, how could you take time to visit me? I guess you were just passing by, right?"
"Is my actions so predictable?"
Jean fell into deep thought, thinking this might give the Fatui and the Abyss order a chance to ambush her.
However, she can just defeat them and hinder their actions with her strength.
"What is your order?" Jason gestured for her to sit down, "Hmm... tell me what you want to eat?"
"Thank you for caring about me."
"Don't thank me like some strangers, okay?" Jason was a little unhappy.
"Okay..." Jean stroked a strand of her hair beside her cheek and said, "Pizza."
"Old rule, don't tell Margaret," Jason replied.
"Okay, I know." A slight smile appeared on Jean's face.
Margaret is the proud owner of the Cat's Tail Tavern, next to the Good Hunter restaurant. The most popular menu in Cat's Tail tavern is pizza.
If Margaret knew that Good Hunter also had pizza on the menu, there would be a business dispute.
"Then this eel, specially reserved for your food," Jason said, catching a long fish from a bucket in the corner.
"Eel?" Jean had never seen this breed of fish.
"It was caught by the servants of Diluc's family a few days ago in the lake below Dawn Winery. Because they didn't know about this breed of fish, they brought it here, by the way."
After saying this, Jason began to condense wind element in his hand, killing the eel in the blink of an eye, and then skillfully used the knife to chop it.
Jean hesitated, "Eel pizza?"
"That's right, as a traveler in another world, I know something that most people in Teyvat don't know," Jason answered.
...
At the same time.
The gate of Mondstadt,
"A city of freedom that lies in the northeast of Teyvat. From amongst mountains and wide-open plains, carefree breezes carry the scent of dandelions — a gift from the Anemo God, Barbatos; welcome to Mondstadt travelers."
A girl with long, dark brown hair, gold eyes, and fair skin gives a warm introduction to a blond girl and her mascot who came to Mondstadt during this particular period.
She wore a jumper-like outfit composed of dark brown leather shorts, a red hoodie-like top, red stockings, and white thigh-high boots embellished with gold linings and symbols.
The undisguised pride in her tone while introducing the city made the two first-time travelers yearn for it.
"Wow, finally, we don't have to sleep in the wild anymore."
The mascot flying in mid-air turned around in excitement but soon realized something wrong with the atmosphere in the city, "Amber, why are the people in the city not in good spirits?"
"Well... everyone's worried about Stormterror recently."
Amber put her hands on the hips and said confidently, "But with the presence of Jean, everything will be okay."
"Jean?"
"The Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, Jean Gunnhildr, is the guardian of Mondstadt."
Amber continued, "We knights, led by Jean, will definitely overcome this disaster."
The mascot was a little surprised, "It seems that Amber admires Jean very much."
"Of course, but before heading to the Knights, let's go to a place first." Suddenly Amber said.
"Where?"
"Good Hunter restaurant."
"Restaurant? Is it food!!" The mascot's eyes started glowing.
"Paimon gets very excited whenever we talk about food. It's not time for dinner yet!"
Amber said: "We should go there first because the restaurant owner is a traveler from another world like Lumine, so you can get some help from him."
"Also, a traveler from another world?" The blonde girl named Lumine became a little nervous.
"Yes, but he's definitely not your brother. Boss Jason has black hair and black pupils, and he is handsome."
Amber heard Lumine describe her brother's appearance outside the city, so she was sure that Jason was not her brother.
"Let's go." Amber waved her hands and led them.
"Also, I have a gift for you as a reward for helping me clear up the hilichurls camp."
"Ah!! What about me?" Paimon became anxious.
"Umm... it's something Paimon can't use. How about I treat you to Mondstadt's Sticky Honey Roast tonight?"
"Okay~~~" Paimon's saliva was almost flowing out.
"Well, we've arrived. It's here!"
Amber pointed to the sign of Good Hunter restaurant and saw that the window on the second floor was open and shouted, "Boss Jason, there is a traveler from another world here. Do you want to meet?"
"Oh?!" Jason looked out and met Lumine's pair of fiery-gold eyes, and he was a little lost.
Lumine has pale blonde hair. Her hair is cut in a short, choppy bob with two longer shoulder-length locks of hair framing her face, with two light-blue flowers pinned to the right of her head and two pale blue feathers tucked at the left.
Then he smiled and nodded friendly.
"Come up. I made something new; you will enjoy it." Jason asked them to enter the restaurant.
"What does he mean? Is there something delicious?" Paimon looked expectant and flew up beside Amber and Lumine.
Paimon has a petite body, giving her the look of a fairy. She has thick white hair cropped just above her shoulders, dark purple eyes, and light skin.
"Master Jean is also here!"
When they entered the restaurant, Amber was startled.
"Amber, don't be rude," Jean said while putting one hand on her chest and greeting Lumine and Paimon. "Mondstadt welcomes you, a traveler from another world. May the Anemo archon bless you!"
"Hello." Lumine also greeted politely, thinking that the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, who was so admired by Amber, was actually such a beauty.
Then, Lumine looked at the Boss of Good Hunter, who made her a little concerned, "Hello, my name is Lumine."
