Mephisto Takes Charge

In the Norman kingdom, deep down in the ocean.

"The king has returned!" a soldier announced to everyone present in the royal hall. It was a huge palace with a white and blue tone to it.

The palace was enormous and huge, it had audience seats on both sides. They were filled with the people of the Norman kingdom, the mermaid species. They used to live underwater with their entire kingdom covered by mana to prevent water from entering the kingdom.

Instead of calling it a kingdom, we could call it an empire. That's how big it actually was. There was only one king that ruled the entire empire. He was the one who fought other small kingdoms and merge them into one.

There were royal chairs on both sides for several ministries and nobles of the empire. At the front of all that, a huge golden throne was built with many tridents screaming out at the top of the throne making it look majestic.
