"He is going to be mad if we miss his class. He might punish us and even give you dorm detention", Dominic replied.

I instantly snapped my head in his direction and raised a brow.

"What do you mean ?", I asked sharply.

"You should go back to Kai’s room in the faculty quarters. He will detain you otherwise", he answered.

"How do you know ?", I asked in surprise.

No one knew that I was rooming with Kai !

Now it was Dominic’s turn to look surprised.

However, he regained his composure quickly and calmly answered.

"You guys were talking as if you were roommates when I …. uh …. I-I had a mini breakdown yesterday", he sheepishly said and my lips instantly formed an ‘O’ shape.
