A Nightmare for all Demons

"Your Majesty… I still have 12 ships!" Lee Ji-hye said unsheathing her sword.

The majesty of a powerful constellation spread from her body and the stigma of the Maritime War God. The Ghost Fleet revealed itself to the beasts as 12 ghost ships showered them with bombardments.

But this alone was not enough to counter the ever-increasing numbers in the water. The beast wave turned towards her ships and wanted to sink them. And they would've reached her.

"Burn you vermin!" Which is why Nam-woon was on the foremost ship's bow.

Initially, he didn't like that his rampage got interrupted. But after he heard that ghost ships were in the conversation. He nodded with no hesitation.

Who would let go of a chance to blast away beasts while riding a cool ship? He wouldn't.

'This is a man's romance,' He grinned watching the fumes rise high in the dark sky. With this one more thing was off his bucket list.

And as this team was dealing with Beasts in water. There was another team that was reducing the beasts to dead bodies at a quicker rate.

There were four people in this team, Lee Seol-Hwa, Yoo Sang-ah, Sung Jin-ah, and Alea Triscan. This team became a terror for the beasts they came across. And to explain their attack pattern, two words would suffice, Trap & Poison.

Jin-ah encased the beasts in ice. Sang-ah and Alea tied up their opponents with mana strings and vines. But regardless of the method in which they got trapped, all beasts met the same end.

Seol-hwa's poison claw went deep into the beast tied up with vines, and soon it started to convulse violently. Blood poured out of its orifices as the leopard-like beast met its end in blood-curdling pain.

"You kill one and twenty pop up," Jin-ah groaned. She did not like repetitive things. But here she had to do that or… she didn't like the idea of figuring out what would happen if she didn't.

"Miss Seol-hwa you look pale," Sang-ah turned to look at their main attacker worried. This was taking a toll on the team.

"I have always had a light skin tone," But she waved it off with a smile.

'Even Sang-ah is getting exhausted.' Alea sighed when she noticed Sang-ah hiding her exhaustion.

"This is why we kept telling you two to rest," The two could only stay silent at Jin-ah's words.

She was correct they should've rested, but with the way things were going, they couldn't do that. The biggest factor was that they were about to face the Main Disaster of the scenario. And their leader was still missing.

However, right now, they couldn't do anything about it. Both have tried to find information within their capabilities, but it was all a blank.

'Whether those constellations told me the truth or not is another question.' Sang-ah frowned. Jin-ah noticed the rare moment, but she understood the frustration.

"We need to hang on, they should be getting started anytime soon," She checked her watch with a sigh. It had been over an hour since the Scenario started. That was enough time for the main team to gather in front of the Disaster.

In truth, the battle had already started.

'This is tough,' Hee-won grunted. Her sword bounced off Yoo-sung's coat of fur and did no damage.

Her claws were speeding towards her face when she was off balance. But, Kanae tanked the attack.

"You are strong," Yoo-sung said. The Incarnations here were surprisingly well-trained and had high stats.

But, that will only get them so far. She gripped the katana with her fingers to hold her in place, it was best to take out the one defending first.

But, a flash of light collided into her side at full force. The attack may have done no damage, but it knocked her off balance and Kanae pulled the katana out of her grasp.

"And you are annoying," Yoo-sung grabbed the spears of dark that rose from her surroundings and hurled them back at Queresha.

"Well well, isn't that quite rude?" Hae-in knocked them down in a quick fashion before they even traveled half the distance.

When it came to speed she was giving Yoo-sung a run for her money even at this stage. With Queresha's well-timed spells and Kanae's high durability. It could be said that Hae-in was the center of the operation with her high attack frequency.

"Anytime now will do great," However, the core of this time was someone else.

"I know," Hee-won gritted her teeth. Hae-in rushed forward to distract Yoo-sung and Kanae moved in to cover the gaps.

'How did that kid turn out like this?' Hee-won saw the look in Yoo-sung's eyes.

It was so different from the kid who was always ready to help. She could feel the darkness, the rage, and hatred, but most of all she could see how tired she looked.

What happened in the future for her to turn out this way? She didn't know. But, there were more pressing issues.

Yoo-sung's beast army was rampaging around them. People were dying and many more will die if she wasn't stopped. She had complete disregard for life itself.

Hee-won knew that they could stop her, but for that she would need to use something. And she did not want to do that.

'After all the suffering, on the whims of the Constellations she will labelled as Evil,' It was comical. She understood it back at Chung-muro, how flawed that scale was.

But in the end, she had to rely on it because she had no other way. To end this scenario she will need the buff provided by that scale.

'I need to make the final call,' Hee-won sighed. It wasn't easy to do when so many lives hung on her choice.

"Ugh!" Tumbling over the wet ground Hee-won saw a boot in front of her face.

"Damn it!" But a sword blocked that and she shot up to her feet.

Yoo-sung's face scrunched up. She swung her ether-filled claws but it only sliced air.

"This brings back some memories for you?" Hae-in smirked whisking Kanae off her feet.

"Let me down now!" And she did not enjoy that joke.

'To do this at such an important battle,' Hee-won cracked a smile.

It reminded him of their group's leader. The important decisions he made and the way he made them. The throne at Gwang-hwamun. A tool that would've allowed him to rule over Seoul, if he took it no one would go against him.

But he rejected it. The Dokkaebi retaliated and tried to spark a conflict, but he made his decision based on his own values. He believed in his choice and wasn't swayed by the offers he got from the Constellations even when the Dokkaebi warned about the destruction of Seoul.

'That guy smiled and said they'll deal with it.'

Was his decision wrong? It was hard to say. Many would say it was useless and caused unwanted deaths. But, she didn't think it was incorrect because if he chose otherwise more would die.

'What I need to do now is use what I have,' Hee-won's eyes burned red with 'Demon Slaying'. The scale in red manifested behind her when she used her skill Hour of Judgement.

[The Absolute Good Constellations are in agreement.]

[The individual 'Disaster Of Floods' has been deemed 'Evil']

'But whether I believe in that judgment is up to me.' The ground cracked as she rushed forward. Her blade sliced through the air and stopped the claws from reaching for Queresha.

"What?" Yoo-sung frowned. She was being pushed back by a human at this stage? Impossible.

"It is too early to be surprised," Yoo-sung jumped back in a hurry, her eyes focused on the scorched claws.

'Hell Flames Ignition? How does she…?' The pure white flame covered Hee-won's blade and burned as the air around it distorted.

This was one of the most powerful Stigmas one could get. A flame that burned away until it cleansed the evil. A Nightmare for all Demons, the stigma of Archangel Uriel.

"I'll try to not hurt you too much,"
