Chapter 111: Visiting the Set

Charlotte was packing upstairs, asking Ella to pick her up. As she went downstairs, she noticed Henry Russell was still in the living room.

"Leaving?"

Henry Russell stood up to put his hand on her shoulder, but Charlotte dodged away. "I'm leaving first. I'm not sure what time we'll finish tonight, so don't wait for me."

Henry Russell felt something was off with her but held back from questioning her as she walked out the door.

In the car, Charlotte seemed preoccupied. Seeing this, Ella assumed she was thinking about Henry Russell.

When they arrived on set, they saw someone they hadn't seen in a while, chatting and laughing with a few actors from the crew.

"Charlotte, you're here. Lucas Carter stopped by and brought us some food," a male actor said with a smile.

Charlotte looked at Lucas Carter and saw a warm smile on his face.

She gave him a nod and returned to her usual resting spot on set.

Her scene was scheduled for the afternoon, so she had arrived a bit early.
