"A letter? Is she breaking up with me with this piece of paper? She can do better than this, Valerie." I said as Ella's best friend gave me the stationery envelope.

"Archer, I wanted to help you, but there is nothing I can do about this situation, and I think you better stop looking for Mariela." She answered.

"Please, Val, I am begging you; I know you are her best friend, and your sympathy would be with her, but please, I don't know what to do anymore. I will never stop looking for her even if the entire world would tell me to stop." I declared, and she looked at me with concern on her face.

"You better go back to your mansion and be with your fiancee; why do you need to mess with Ella's life?" Valerie asked.
