Snappy Feelings

As the sunset peeks through the small window of my cell, I open my eyes to see the person standing before me.

"It's been a year."

I greeted her casually.

"You've grown again. You've learned how to calm your heart-no, you calmed her heart."

She smiled at me while praising me.

"I'm impressed that you finally figured out your roots."

"Thanks to your meddling, I figured out a lot of things."

"You don't sound very thankful though."

"Because I'm not."

I stand up from my wooden bed and walked towards the side of the cell to watch the sunset better at the horizon outside the window.

"Tell me, Hal'ena. Why are you trying to turn into a God?"

"Out of all the incarnations you have, only this one is able to get strong enough ask that question. That just means you have the strongest connection to the Heart out of all the incarnations so far."

"That's not the answer to my question."
