Chapter 103: Serve the People

Returning home, Yue Jiannan poured himself a large cup of water using the thermos.

Holding the enamel mug, he guzzled the water into his throat, which made Lin Chunju feel that something was off.

"What were you up to today? Didn't you even drink water outside?"

Caught up at the card table, Yue Jiannan, fearing someone would take his spot, wouldn't even budge to pour some water, let alone go to the restroom.

"Do they?"
