Chapter 86

In the Eriadu System a battle between the Republic and the CIS was raging for control over the planet. The CIS having won many recent battle against the Republic is now pushing against more important world's such as Eriadu.

Eriadu was a massive supply line for the Republic which offered many resources for the war against the CIS. It was a major droid production planet for the Republic, it was situated in the middle of at least three trade routes which including the Rimma Trade Route. And it was a mostly industrial planet.

Losing it would further cripple the Republic's ability to continue to fight a war across the Galaxy on multiple front's.

The Republic already has 2 fleet's to fight against the CIS in the system but the CIS has many influential and powerful member's who are very rich, thus the amount of ship's that the CIS has is much bigger, and powerful than the Republic.

For the Republic to win a massive battle against the CIS they would need either a legendary admiral, or more ship's than the CIS and unfortunately they have none of that for this battle.

As the battle went on it was looking like the Republic was about to retreat from the battle due to taking heavy losses.

That's when another fleet appeared out of Hyperspace. It was the Terran's 9th Fleet commanded by Admiral Fredrick of the Terran Ascendency.

"Attention Republic Forces in the system, Help has arrive, I say again Help has arrived" Said Admiral Fredrick as he ordered his fleet to open fire on the CIS fleet.

The Republic Admiral onboard his venator had began to coordinate his forces with the arriving Terran fleet in order to push back the CIS.

The CIS fleet didn't even try to fight and had turned around and jumped to Hyperspace. Admiral Fredrick allowed them to jump to Hyperspace since a prolonged battle would cause further damage to the Republic fleet.

Once the CIS fleet had left Admiral Fredrick had took a shuttle to the Venator which the Republic Admiral was located on.

Once he arrived the Republic Admiral had welcome party for him to show respect to a fellow Admiral.

Admiral Fredrick walked down the ramp of his shuttle towards the Republic Admiral. Once he was close enough the Republic Admiral reached out his hand. Admiral Fredrick grabbed his hand and greeted him

"Nice to meet you Admiral Ballik, I'm Admiral Fredrick of the Terran Ascendency" 

Admiral Ballik returned the greeting "Nice to meet you Admiral Fredrick, normally I would introduce myself but it appears as though you already know about me" 

Admiral Fredrick nodded his head "Indeed I do, while we are not allies in this war, we still are fighting the same enemies so I learned the names of all the Republic Admirals and other high ranking individuals"

"It's nice to meet an Admiral who has such dedication" Said Admiral Ballik

"It come's with the job" Said Admiral Fredrick as he chuckled a little.

Then he looked past Admiral Ballik and had seen three individuals walking towards them. Admiral Ballik followed his eyes and noticed who he was looking at.

"Admiral Fredrick let me introduce you to the three Jedi sent to help us in this sector. This is Master Qui-gon" Qui-gon and Admiral Fredrick shook hands. "Thanks for the help out there Admiral"

"This is Jedi knight Obi-wan Kenobi" Obi-wan and Admiral Fredrick shook hands "It's a pleasure to meet you Admiral"

"And this is the young Padawan Anakin Skywalker" Anakin and Admiral Fredrick shook hands "Nice to meet you Admiral"

"And Master Jedi this is Admiral Fredrick of the Terran Ascendency" Said Admiral Ballik as he finished the introductions.

"Admiral Fredrick are you the one that Master Yoda was talking about" Asked Qui-gon since Master Yoda had said that a Terran Admiral would come to help the Jedi in their mission to investigate the Imperial Military located in the Sullust system.

"Yes Master Jedi, I was instructed to transport an elite team of our Special forces along with some equipment that would help in your investigation, the Elite team is still on the transport but should be out soon" Said Admiral Fredrick as he turned around to look at his shuttle.

Moments later a team of Spartan's carrying some equipment had walked down the ramp. Everybody who was in the room had started looking at the Spartan's who stood above everybody else and wore some heavy armor.

"This is Lt. Freed the leader of this Elite team that specializes in all areas of combat missions, stealth mission's, sabotage mission's, etc....." 

"His team will be able to help you in your mission and provide you with the equipment to succeed without being captured" Said Admiral Fredrick

"Nice to meet you Lt. Freed I'm Jedi Master Qui-gon, this is Jedi Knight Obi-wan Kenobi and this is my Padawan Anakin Skywalker" Said Qui-gon introducing themselves to Lt. Freed who already knew their names and all other information about them.

"It's good to be working with you Master Qui-gon and we will ensure the successful completion of your mission" Said Lt. Freed.

After that Qui-gon and Lt. Freed went to discuss the plan for the mission while both Admiral Fredrick and Admiral Ballik went to have a meal and talk amongst themselves.

Meanwhile at Lehon the space was filled with ton's of tourist and trader's who have come to visit the planet. Some expected a lot of feed back from the local population about outsider's but what surprised them was that the local population didn't treat them bad.

Some of Corporation's that aren't affiliated with the CIS was allowed to set up branches on Lehon, but first they had to get an approved license from the Government that allowed them to buy a small plot of land inside of the cities only.

Their cargo ship's were allowed to travel through the Hyper Lane gate provided they can pass the ship inspection.

Another small city was built to house the people who are immigrating to the Terran Ascendency which already numbered in the Hundred's of thousands and was only increasing every hour.

The planet had become even more lively now as the various people of different cultures had began to intertwine with one another. 

And people were curious about the Rakata since they had never seen them before. 

All in all the first day for the Opening of Lehon to the Galaxy has went well.
