While Ghost was keeping watch over the prisoners that had somehow survived Alyssia's attacks along with Leno as they were kept in the underground prison, the previous captives continued their duties as they started to tidy up the insides of the walls and move the wood inside.

Alyssia was busy working hard as she continued clearing a path to the sea, most of the wood that she had chopped up had been wither left on the side of the road that had been cleared to build a wooden fence to stop some animals from leaving the forest area and appearing on the road while most of it was either moved towards the Sunken Castle or to the outer part of the island to build a stable docking area nearby.

With the amount of ship builders and crafters on their way from the White Storm that had built up a lot of experience within Water Seven, quickly transforming the castle, road and docks would be a simple task for them.

Since most inhabited places were abandoned by the inhabitants of the island, legally whoever had the strength to claim that area was the rightful owner and if they did have problems with it then berries would always be able to solve any problems.

Already owned or pieces of inhabited land usually are registered within the capital which is where the deeds are officially created and managed upon that land becoming habitable and being occupied by people.

There are always exceptions from pirates or bandit groups that take over those lands by force and create a lawless zone or those that acquired the land deed upon taking the land from others by force.

Some of those groups are met with force and the original residents would attempt to use their laws and force to claim back the lands.

The current situation within the island was complicated so Alyssia made her preparations and awaited the arrival of Alfred who was best at handling the complicated matters.

While Alyssia was busy removing the tree stumps from the ground and started filling in any holes, everyone arrived together as many large ships stopped and many people got onto small row boats as they entered Rica Island. "Start by building the docks and help make the roads suitable for transporting goods back and forth. I want a group to work on protection duties to protect those working and to send a team to the castle. I want another team to escort Alfred with the deed to inform them about the change of owner to avoid any conflicts with the people from the capital."

Alfred nodded. "I do not think that protection for me is needed now but It is best to be cautious for unknown variables."

He had his body modified so he was much more durable than others so he was confident to survive if he encountered an attack but he did not wish to be overconfident because there would always be those that he could not defeat resulting in his capture or they may have some type of hidden weapon or fighter that could harm him.

While he was travelling to register the deed and lands, he needed to make a slight show of force to show that the new people occupying the land were not pushovers.

Just because many within the capital were living well does not mean that they did not have their sights set on some occupied pieces of land outside for their own purposes whether it be for raising a private army unnoticed or having their own private supply of food for emergencies or to defeat their enemies.

The royal, noble, merchant and commoner struggles for power within any island would cause a lot of internal conflicts within while many were seeking to gain benefits to overcome their enemies.

The worst of them that have long been corrupted by power would not hesitate to kill people to protect their interests or even start a war just so that they could rise in the ranks so if Alyssia and her people looked like easy targets then they would be the first to become a target for those groups of people.

Archie and many others started working on the docks right away and a couple of days passed as the docks were starting to slowly transform along with the road and Sunken Castle which were being fortified in case of additional attacks.

Within the underground dungeon, Leno was chained up in the prison cell and he remained silent as he weakly hung on the wall.

Even his mouth was gagged to prevent him from biting his tongue which showed how careful Alyssia had been to preserve his life.

Upstairs on the ground floor of the Sunken Castle or the first basement floor after being sunken into the ground, many of the members of the crew stood together and watched Alyssia as she opened her mouth. "I want to do a test and it needs one of you to participate. Those of you without a Devil Fruit power will be required while others cannot help so first I wish to go over the power that you will gain upon helping me. From my observations the type of transformation would be a full wolverine and hybrid form that would allow you the ability to fight those bigger than yourself but also those with physical advantages over you. You will gain sharp teeth and claws capable of lacerating flesh and digging through sturdy rocks. Since it is a carnivorous form, you will also gain improved instincts and senses. This is a Zoan Devil Fruit power that will transform your body shape and affect your current style of combat unless it is compatible so I hope that you can think it through properly. My idea is that it would be suited to someone with a weaker body or to someone strong that could make the best use of the physical boosts to their body along with the other changes to the instincts and sharpness of the claws."

After Alyssia finished explaining, many knew that they had been removed from being considered for the experiment because they did not fit within the category mentioned or their style of combat conflicted with the change of their body if they gained the power.

Ein shook her head. "It is not beneficial for me to change my form while within an exoskeleton suit so I will have to decline. The benefit of having a hidden trump card would be good but I think it would be best if it was something that provided me more defence over offence."

Although clothing would transform and not be damaged upon using a Devil Fruit power, an external object may be affected by the change in body shape which would cause Ein discomfort or damage the exoskeleton suit so a Zoan was not suitable for Ein to use with her mechanical weapons and suit so she quickly declined.

Ashwin shook his head quietly as had a short response. "No thanks."

Ashwin preferred blunt objects and hoverboard types of weapons and tools to assist him along with his modifications made with Dials and other types of science so the transformation would not be too useful to him in his opinion.

Liushi shrugged. "Sorry but I will decline. I prefer to continue with my path of a martial artist."

Liushi had always focussed on improving his body and had found the path of Haki and other techniques so he believed that an additional power would only get in the way of his growth.
