"Forgive you?"

Connor slowly raised his head and glanced at Joseph, then said with a cold expression, "I've never met you before, and I don't even know who you are. Why should I forgive you? Have you ever done anything to let me down?"

"I let your mother down before, but I did it for her own good!"

Joseph said in a low voice.

"Don't you feel guilty saying this?"

Connor sneered and then said indifferently, "I don't know what happened back then, and I don't know what you did to my mother. I only know that my mother told me that she had no relatives in this world, and I don't have a grandfather."

"Then why can you forgive Chelsea Lee but not me?" Joseph asked.
