Guilt and Brotherhood (Sam)

(Sam)

I broke every goddam road law known to man to get to the clubhouse as quick as possible. But still, It had not been enough.

I had arrived to find the place in chaos; the four masked gunmen scattered to the wind, and Callum had been nowhere in sight. With no fucker picking up the dam phone, it had taken forty minutes to get the men in order and for news to travel down the grapevine.

Callum's old lady, Stacy, was in critical condition. Nobody knew if the baby, still growing in her mother belly, had survived.

I could only imagine what my brother was going through, I wanted to be there for him, but as his VP, it was my job to keep the men in line when he couldn't. Besides, I wasn't entirely sure Callum would want me at the hospital.

If I had gone to the party like my brother had ordered me to, maybe things would have been different or perhaps; I'd be another name among the dead or injured.
