Bonding

"W-what?!" Allen said blushing. "Sleep with you?"

"Yes, in my house. I have some free rooms. And it's too late to wander around" Eula said "But if you don't want to be with me, I'll understand."

"No, no!" Allen quickly corrected "If it's not too much trouble for you, I would be delighted to stay the night."

Eula smiled and took Allen's hands, bringing him inside the cabin. The cabin wasn't small but it was quite cozy. With a living room, a bathroom and three rooms, it seemed to be prepared for more than one person to live in it.

Eula quickly lighted the fireplace, warming the room while she prepared some soup for dinner.

"Do you live here alone?" Allen asked observing some hunting tools and decorations that really did not seem to be Eula's possessions.

"The truth is that this cabin wasn't mine. It was from my teacher" Eula explained "He was quite the adventurer and liked to travel and explore a lot so he had places to stay all over Mondstadt's surroundings."

"One time that I escaped from home, he was the one that found me and convinced me to return as I was too small. But after that time, he started to teach me how to hunt, travel, scout, and a lot of other things, teaching me how to live alone."

"Last year, when I turned 18, he gifted me this cabin and I decided to live here as I like the cool and fresh air and I would rather avoid Mondstadt."

"It seems that he was a good teacher" Allen smiled with nostalgia, reminding him of Tomoki who took him under his care and showed a way to live. "I'll like to meet him some day."

"Yes, he was a great teacher, but unfortunately he left a year ago." Eula stated "He was the captain of the Outriders, but he resigned without telling anyone, only leaving his emblem behind."

'Outriders? So his teacher should have been Amber's grandfather. Nothing much was said in the game so I don't know anything from him' "Someone that taught you so well, I'm sure that he would be fine." Allen tried to warm a little the air.

"I have no doubt" Eula affirmed "He should have wanted to retire from being a knight and explore the world. That's a lot like him."

Eula finished cooking and presented the dish to Allen who quickly ate it.

"It was truly delicious." Allen stated truthfully, having been one of the best things that he had eaten, making it clear that Eula was an excellent cook.

"As a Lawrence, we can't suil our mouth with commoners' dishes that's why I was taught cooking since little, cooking being another way of art." She said with a beaming smile, glad that Allen liked her dish.

"Allen, come to my room, I have something to show you" Once both finished eating, Eula led him to her room. The room was unlike all the other cabin, truly decorated with ornament, a big bed, wardrobes that showed a noble aura that you really could expect from a proud daughter of the Lawrence like Eula. The only thing a little more personal was a photo on a table.

"Is this your teacher?" Allen took the photo. On it, there was an old man about 60 years old with white and brown hair, quite muscular and with golden eyes, patting the head of two girls, one with each hand while smiling brightly. One of the girls was clearly a younger Eula, about 10 years old, and the other was a brunette little girl wearing a pair of rabbit ears. The little girl was smiling at Eula while Eula avoided her gaze with a cute blush. "You seem quite friendly with each other."

"Don't look at it!" Eula quickly took the photo, hiding into a drawer "Yes, he is my teacher and his granddaughter. She is always a little tiresome, but she's one of the few who accept me as a friend."

"What would she said if I tell her that you have this photo in your room?" Allen smiled teasingly.

"Please, no," Eula prayed, her voice laced with desperation. "If she sees that photo, she'll never let me hear the end of it. Amber is always so persistent and she'll use it as an excuse to claim that we're best friends."

"And it's not?" Allen asked smiling.

"It may be," Eula looked away, avoiding eye contact. "Anyway, I wanted to show you this" She turned over a curtain on the wall, opening it, revealing a framed painting.

On the painting, there were drawn 5 people wearing very refined dresses. A beautiful woman with dark blue hair and a handsome blond man, both of them with a child in their hands, both children being quite similar with each other, about 2 years old, with blue hair and different color of eyes, one purple and one yellow and for their clothes one should be a boy and the other a girl. Finally, there was a little girl standing between them smiling brightly from ear to ear.

It was clear who they were "Our family" Allen did not have doubts about being Eula's brother, but seeing this painting it made even more evident. Eula, Ellen, him and their parents, all smiling showing a perfectly happy family.

"Yes. When I decided to leave the clan and live on my own, this was the only thing that I took, robbing it from the storage" Eula stated fixed on the painting while smiling sadly "It was the only reminder of you all."

'A reminder of what she had lost.' Allen thought listening at her 'It's quite painful. It might be better to not have it like that, that constant reminder...'

"Let's make a new one in the future" Allen proposed "Of how much we have grown."

"Yes. It would be a great idea, I would prepar-" "Could you let me prepare it?" Allen interrupted "I'll find a good painter and inform you of the time." 'Our parent won't be in it, but I'll make sure that Ellen is. A drawing of the three.'

"As you wish" Eula closed the curtain again, and smiled at Allen "It's getting late, you should go to sleep. You can use the next-door room."

"Yes, I am quite tired. Thanks" Allen left Eula alone, looking at her with worry one last time before going to the next room that was decorated minimally according to all the cabin, unlike Eula's room, and in truth was even bigger than her, having also quite the big bed on it.

As he had no pajama, Allen stayed with his underpants and laid on the bed, closing his eyes and thinking about what happened today, making it quite a mental exhausting day, being tested again, but unlike with others, not leaving a bad taste behind.

'In the end, it does not change much that I have a sister or that I am a Lawrence. We could be siblings, but I really not have any relation with Eula, her being a complete stranger to me, but it's clear that for her is different, Eula never having forgotten us. I know how important is family and I can relate with her thought.'

'Eula lost all her family, being left alone even younger than me when Ellen was frozen and that without having other memories, it might have been hard and sad' Allen thought 'I'll try to truly become her brother and I am sure that Ellen would love to have a bigger sister like her. Let's try to cheer her and let make her forget that sad past.' Allen decided in the end.

She might not be family for him, but he was for her and seeing her state, she was completely truthful about it.

'Let's slowly proceed our relationship' Allen ended deciding.

"Allen, are you asleep?" Just as Allen was about to fall asleep, Eula appeared over the door.

"I was about now" Allen turned over the door where Eula stood wearing a white nightgown that left little to the imagination, creating an image of vulnerability.

"It's quite cold tonight" Eula said stepping forward and laying on the bed, crawling under the blanket, next to Allen "Let's keep each other warm."

"E-eula? This..." Allen blushed nervously.

"There's nothing wrong, you are my brother" Eula smiled taking Allen's hands "I trust you."

It wasn't long before Eula closed her eyes and instantly fell asleep.

'Let's not think about it' Allen decided looking at the other side, finding himself completely powerless against her. Suddenly, Allen felt Eula snug closer to him, wrapping her arms around him. Allen could feel his heart skip, feeling her soft curves pressed against his body, her perfect body and soft breast all over him.

'Is this really happening?' Allen was alarmed, almost jumping at it. It was a wonder how he could coldly kill humans and monsters without batting an eye but how weak he was for occasions like this one. Having someone so pretty in his bed, without a doubt the prettiest ever with whom he had been, would normally be something to celebrate, but it was his blood sister.

In the end, Allen decided against it. 'We better not sleep together' "Eu-!"

"Mother" As Allen was about to separate, Eula moaned sadly "Father. Ellen. Allen. I miss you"

Allen turned carefully around, trying to not wake her up, and saw Eula's sleeping face with her soft lips pressed painfully while tears fell from her eyes in her sleep.

Seeing her, Allen was touched, being unable to break her. "I'm here" Allen embraced her "big sis"

Feeling him and his words, Eula immediately calmed, forming a beautiful smile on her lips and rubbing her face over Allen.

'I suppose that I won't sleep tonight.'
