Spindrift Knight

'Eula' Allen was able to recognize the woman in front of her thanks to the game. Eula Lawrence the Spindrift Knight of the Favonius and future captain of the Reconnaissance Company, while also being part of the Lawrence family, a nobility clan of Mondstadt and the most hated one due to their corruption and oppression, having become tyrants 1000 years ago and finally being dethroned by Venessa who later formed the actual Knight of Favonius.

Those facts made Eula quite strange and alienated one by everyone. Being looked down on by her family for working for their considered worst enemy, branding her as a traitor while being hated and isolated by the people of Mondstadt due to the hate for the Lawrence Family.

"Vengence will be mine!" Eula launched another attack, swinging her full body as she stroked with her claymore while a Lightfall Sword was created around her.

'That claymore is the same one as Venerare. I can't block it again or my katana will just break. I'll also need to be wary of her Elemental Burst.' Allen jumped backward "Why are you attacking me?!"

Eula hit the ground where Allen had been before "Do not try to hide it, you are part of the Abyss Order!" and quickly twisted her body following with another strong swing.

"You are wrong! I-" Allen tried to clear the misunderstanding, but he was forced to quickly avoid Eula's attack, needing to back up. Eula continued her attacks while Allen was unable to break through them, forcing him back.

Eula's attacks seemed quite slow, but it was only the feeling that they have. Her large swings using all her body, the flow of her attacks seeming to be dancing while perfectly chaining one after the other letting no opening in her defense while she was continuously accumulating momentum, her attacks becoming stronger and quicker

'I need to stop her, even if it's only for an instant' Allen focused his elemental power on his sword, covering it with Cryo.

"I will not trust your useless lies!" Eula's Lightfall Sword started shining as she swung her sword with all her accumulated momentum.

'Please resist' Allen lowered his body while lifting his sword 'Favonius style. Burst!'

*BOOM!* Eula's and Allen's bursts exploded and the same as both swords met. Allen was pushed over 5 meters, breaking his posture while Eula's greatsword was barely stopped and while her momentum has been broken, she could follow up quite shortly, being clearly the winner of the interchange, but that break of her combo, that instant was what Allen was waiting.

Just as Eula jumped forward to attack Allen again, Allen swung his sword, throwing it away from his hands, while crossing his arms, imbued with Cryo in front of him, covering his body. Fortunately, there was no need as Eula's greatsword stopped just before hitting him, Eula quickly stepping back.

"What are you trying to do letting your sword? I won't fail for your tricks!" Eula glared at Allen.

"It's not a trick. I'm truly not part of the Abyss Order" Allen lifted his hands, showing no trick.

"I saw you talking with an Abyss Mage while surrounded by hilichurl that did not try to attack you." Eula inquired.

"I fought against that Mage, but somehow, it didn't want to fight and quickly left." Allen explained "I am an adventurer. I was tasked to investigate this area." Allen said slowly taking his identification plus the commission paper, throwing it to the ground under Eula.

Eula looked over them and Allen and her expression change a little 'Now that I think about, he doesn't seem to be one. He is using a Vision and I heard rumors these days about a new adventurer with a Cryo Vision over Mondstadt...'

"My apologizes for my misjudgment" Eula made a perfect curtsy "It seems that I was wrong. I will accept any revenge from you."

"Anyone can make a mistake, but please don't be so impulse next time." Allen smiled "I am Niwa Allen, nice to meet you."

"Allen?" Eula blinked before glaring at Allen from bottom to top "I am Eula Lawrence." She bowed "Please, let me at least escort you as my apologies."

"I don't think there's any need. I was about to return to Mondstadt anyway" Allen explained.

"If it is like that, let me follow you. I also need to report my last findings."

'I wanted to investigate a little more, but let's stop for now' Allen did not know what exactly to do "How could I negate a beautiful lady?" Allen smiled gallantly, but Eula made a little and very natural smile. 'That's strange.'

I concluded that the Abyss Order is highly likely the culprit behind it, but the origin of it should not be from this area, even when it is where the number of hilichurls is higher. Anyway, while it is no problem for now, an eye should be kept on them before it could turn dangerous."

They talked a little more about their findings of the tribes and both versions were quite similar, but Eula's being more detailed, Allen discovered how experienced she was.

"You said that your surname was Niwa, Allen. From where are you?" Eula asked with interest.

"I am from Inazuma." Allen answered, Eula glaring a little "Due to the close of borders, I was exiled. That's why I am traveling now."

"I see..." Eula was thoughtful "Don't you have any family? Parents? Some sibling?"

"I am an orphan" Allen shook his head "I had one big brother who took care of me" Allen thought about Ellen, but decided to not tell about her, telling about Tomoki. "But he died not long ago."

"My condolences" She made a downcast expression. That created a forced silence but it was exactly what Allen went for, knowing that talking about a killed family was a difficult theme that she would avoid.

"You had good swordsmanship, where did you learn it?" After some time, they started talking about their style, Allen explaining a little about the Niwa and Eula telling something about the Lawrence.

"Let's enter separated to the city" When they finally got close to Mondstadt, Eula stopped.

"Why?" Allen asked surprised. Eula seemed quite curious about him. 'She seems to still have some doubts about me. I wanted to bring her to Katheryne to clear them.'

"I have a noble image to keep" Eula stated "Seeing me related with lower class people like you..." Eula said the like you with a little pained voice "would tarnish my honor."

"I see." Seeing her expression and the air behind, Allen understood her 'Of course, it's exactly the opposite. She knows how she and her family are hated and don't want people to relate her with me' "It was an honor to spend this time with the lady" Allen kissed her hand "Till next time."
