"Dahlia!" A look of concern crossed Romulus' face when he heard her shout in pain and he was quick to catch her else she would have landed on the dirty ground.
"What is wrong?" Romulus asked, his eyes full of concern as he looked her all over. As much as he cared, he wasn't attached to the little human that attracted trouble wherever she went, Romulus told himself. But then, he had promised to rescue her and would see that to the end.
"I don't know," Dahlia gasped, unable to stand on her own without his support, "I just feel like I'm in hell."
And she was not kidding. Her insides felt like someone set them on fire and she needed to cool off. Sadly, it kept increasing with the minutes and that was enough to drive her crazy. Dahlia felt she would combust pretty soon if someone didn't do something about it.
The excessive heat drove Dahlia mad to the point that she had reached for her dress, wanting to pull the strap down when Romulus caught her hand.
