Chapter 124 - Obito Makes His Move

Then he once again looks at both Yahiko and Konan and says "Looks like you'll be reunited with Nagato soon, there the three of you can share your regret at falling for Naruto's nonsense... But Yahiko says "Nagato's will has not disappeared! And I too will put my faith in Naruto as he and Konan did!" then he did a series of hand seals then he put his hand on the water and said "Suiton: Mizurappa" this time forming a big wave that his threatening to crush anything in its path, but Yahiko doesn't stop here, he jumps and after a quick series of hand seals he releases another Jutsu aiming at the wave he created "Fūton: Daitoppa(Wind Release: Great Breakthrough)" and breaths a strong wind from his mouth akin to a hurricane, that soon joins the water jutsu creating a devastating moving maelstrom akin a natural disaster "Suiton-Fūton Renkeijutsu: Fūsui Rappa no Jutsu (Water-Wind Release Combination: Wind Water Wild Wave)".

The Jutsu completely swallows Obito and the maelstrom continues to move around the lake, Yahiko then lands next to Konan and says "Let's go! I'm not sure if this is enough to stop him..." but in a swirling vortex Obito appears in front of them and says "No it's not enough..." then he kick away Yahiko and grabs Konan from the throat with his remaining arm then looks at her in eyes with his Sharingan and says "When the Genjutsu ends so will your life... So tell me where is Nagato's body..." and Konan gives him the information, then Obito is about to finish her off when a fedora hat comes out of nowhere and is about to cut his hand off, So Obito is forced to turn his hand intangible and let go of Konan.

Then a series of wood dragons came and attacked Obito from all sides forcing him to retreat even more, at the same time the hat turn back and return to the owner, Agent P, who then quickly grabbed Konan and Yahiko by growing some branches then retreat to put more distance between him and Obito.

Then Agent P sends some Chakra to a seal marked on his fedora hat and the next instant, Kabuto appeared and took them away with his Hiraishin no Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique).

Meanwhile, Obito once again comes out of his dimension and looks around then he clicks his tongue "Tch... They got away! That was the beast with the Wood Release... so that means that the Baransa once again got in my way... Shit, why is Zetsu unable to find their HQ... even worse they rarely appear alone, and to move around they teleport... But that doesn't matter when the Moon's Eye Operation starts they too can't escape from it!"

Then Obito went where Nagato's body lies, its final resting place, it is a shrine created by Konan's paper, it consists of a large square display filled with paper flowers upon which the body rest, on the wall behind the body there is a mural of angels and a pair of large pillars stand in front of the shrine with a paper flower bouquet on each of them, there is also a circular ripple-like pattern on the floor that resembles the Rinnegan between these two pillars.

Obito slowly walks near Nagato's body look at the smile on his face and says " Are you laughing at your betrayal of me?" then he put his hand on Nagato's body and absorbed him in his dimension, then he went away saying "That took a while I guess I should go now".
