Higurashi x Fate x Possibly (probably not) Bleach [not all three together]

This request is of a solution that is necessary given anyone wants to involve a character from Higurashi in any majorly supernatural-oriented anime. This request is based entirely off of Rika, however any other character could be put in her place, assuming you say that they went through the loops instead of Rika.

Rika Furude, (from Higurashi), doesn't really have any powers, other than her time looping abilities. Due to this, it is very difficult for me to come up with good ideas involving crossing over the character with other series that are more supernatural-oriented. One solution I'm come up with, and one of the only real solutions that exist, is to give Rika some other powers.

I was thinking along the lines of her either being a shinigami from Bleach, which she would fit the role for well, considering her experience with death, or giving her a reality marble, different from the ones we see in Fate/zero and Fate/stay night.

Going with the shinigami idea, you can perhaps give Rika a time-based zanpukato, which I think would be very interesting. Maybe involve some lore with Frederica Bernkastel, the witch of miracles, in that too, if you'd like.

If you go with the idea of giving her a reality marble, I have some ideas on where you'd go from there. It's a very interesting idea, due to the fact that Rika's worldview likely is alien enough by the end of the series she's in for her to acquire one. In other words, giving her a reality marble would fit in really nicely, since it wouldn't be very forced at all. Despite how well acquainted she is with death, I can't really see the idea of her becoming a shinigami as realistic, nor do I think she would change much in the story of Bleach if she were to be there.

As for how her reality marble would look like or function, this is what I'm thinking of, but you can adjustments as you deem fit: Hinamizawa village in it's entirety, except everyone is at stage five of the Hinamizawa Syndrome and they are all empowered by the magecraft that best suits each individual person. I'm not sure how you'd make this effective against servants, but maybe it doesn't have to be, given we have Shirou.

Of course, for all of this to work in the first place, Rika is going to have to learn a little bit of magecraft. It's up to you how you want to go about it, whether it be her figuring it out throughout her time loops in Fuyuki city, or via her already getting taught by someone before even arriving at the city.

As for how she arrives in the city of Fuyuki, have it so that the school she decides to go to with Satoko in Higurashi Gou isn't St. Lucia Academy, but Homurahara Academy. Have it so that Satoko decides to not go with her to the academy, even if that is majorly out of character for her, since her being involved with the story complicates things a lot.

If you choose the option of her being taught before arriving in the city, you have several different options: you could make it an OC that never appears again later in the story, or you could have it be someone that doesn't appear in Fate/stay night normally, such as Lord El-Melloi II (Waver Velvet) or Zelretch. If you choose Zelretch, then that would tie nicely into how I want this story to end. That ending is Zelretch helping to free Archer from his contract with Alaya, basically, since I don't really see another way Rika could free him, unless you come up with something really creative. If you choose Lord El-Melloi II, you could use him to maybe shake up the events of Fate/stay night, and have him appear later in the story. Choose him if you want your story to be more creative, and more differing from canon.

In the story of Fate, particularly in the story of Fate/stay night, I think her involvement would create a really nice parallel between her and Archer. I'm not saying this just because I like the character; I have one main reason to think so. Rika has spent a hundred years trapped in a time loop of her own making to save her friends and her village from the Hinamizawa Syndrome in Higurashi, while Archer has also spent an unknowable amount of time trapped in a loop of his own making, but is stuck killing people. In other words, they've both spent long periods of time stuck in loops of their own making, even if Archer's isn't necessarily a time loop, but one has spent that time saving people and the other has spent it killing people. Do you see where I'm going with this?

I'm not sure how the rest of the story would go, but by the end of this crossover between Higurashi and Fate, I would like to see Archer be freed from his contract with Alaya. I actually have even more to add to this idea, too. What if you have Rika create another time loop to try and save Archer? Wouldn't that be an interesting idea, the events of Fate/stay night repeating themselves over and over in a time loop created by Rika Furude? (You can either involve Hanyu and have her do the loops with Rika, or just say that Rika can do the loops without her.)

Maybe have it so that she experiences bad ends like in the visual novel, but she actually remembers them, unlike in Shirou's case, where it's just decisions that could go wrong but don't actually happen in the main story. Other than that, maybe have the time loop be accidental at first, with the bad ends, but have it become intentional later on when she learns of Archer's predicament?

It would make the most sense for this to be the Unlimited Blade Works route, by the way, seeing as that focuses on Archer the most heavily. The Fate route could work too, if you want things to be really different. I'm not sure, in that case, how Rika would figure out who Archer really is at all, but it still works if you incorporate that information somehow. The Heaven's Feel route would be difficult to make work; it's too chaotic as it is, and the route doesn't really work at all without Shirou gaining Archer's arm, unless you just have Archer doing the work himself somehow. If you really think you're up for it, it would be possible to do, just hard to figure out the plot for.

By the end of whatever route you choose, have Archer be saved from his contract with Alaya via Zelretch, and have him give on killing Shirou by then. Preferably, this means that in the final time loop where he is saved, it should be after the clash between Archer and Shirou if you chose the Unlimited Blade Works route. Then have it so that they go through the rest of the story of that route, but without Archer going back to the throne at the end, and with him deciding to contract with Rin once more. Alternatively, you could have him contract with Rika.

If you chose a different route, then I have some alternative options. If you chose the Fate route, have it so that he's saved by Zelretch just before he dies to berserker, but after he's already taken several of berserker's lives. Then have Rika convince him to not kill Shirou, have them go through the rest of the story, and by the end either have him stay contracted to Rin or contract with Rika.

It's more complicated if you chose the Heaven's Feel route, but have it be so that Archer somehow survives after giving his arm to Shirou, or so that Archer never gives Shirou his arm at all. Then, since Shirou gives up on his ideals in this route, there is no convincing necessary, and they go through the rest of that route without Archer dying and it ends in whatever fashion you want it to end in. If you do choose that route, note that you'll likely have to make huge changes from canon, including at the end of the route, due to Archer's survival and Rika's interference. Have Zelretch save him here too, but have it be at the very end of the route after everything is dealt with.

No matter which route you chose, have Rika bond with Archer over their respective loops of hell, and have them become close by the end of the route. I don't mean in a romantic sense, however; have it be a purely platonic relationship. In this story, at least if you chose the Unlimited Blade Works route, I want Rika to reveal her past experiences right after Archer reveals his. If you chose a different route, then have Rika reveal it when Archer is saved in the Fate route, and around half-way through the story of Heaven's Feel.

This is by far the longest request I have written to date, so sorry if you were looking for something different than just an entire story outline. Feel free to personalize and customize the story outline I’ve written however you’d like, though. Also, some pieces of this request are all over the place, so sorry if you get confused.
