Meeting Grandparents

"Super… powers? I don't understand."

"I don't blame you. I was planning to tell you this anyway, but I thought this was the best time." Rudy looked into Elena's eyes and said, "I didn't want to hide anything from my lover."

Elena pondered for a few seconds and nodded before saying, "Okay."

"No… what, okay? You are not going to ask more questions?"

"No. I just want to know what you want me to know. I won't ask you things you don't tell me. And besides…."

"Besides…?" Rudy eagerly waited for the following words.

"Besides, I am getting late, so now is not the time."

Elena grinned at Rudy and remarked, "What? Are you going to sulk now?"

"I never sulk."

Elena grabbed Rudy's hand and said, "Come."

"Hmm?"

"Don't you want to meet my grandparents?"
