***ADDIE'S POV***

The look on Plander's face was pure fear. That was the only way to put it. He was looking at me as if someone had just dumped icy water over his head and had turned everything inside him to ice. He knew I was right, and that I had clearly just threatened him. 

"Wh..wh..why are you doing this to me? To us? What did we ever do to you?" The way Plander's voice shook shouldn't have brought a smile to my face, but it did. I was glad that he was scared. He wasn't a nice person. The way he treated his daughter was proof of that.

"Why?" My smile made him flinch. "Well, you've done some things that aren't exactly nice. To your people and your own daughter."

"I have no daughter." He snapped at me. "I don't have a daughter anymore. She's a liar and a manipulator. And she is going to get herself executed for her actions."
