While Blake was playing with Yamazaki's emotions and Yamazaki was looking for a way out of his desperate situation, Hawks were touring their daily patrol.
Normally, he'd walk around on patrol. Although he could fly thanks to his Quirk, walking around on the ground made his job easier and also helped him clear his mind, which was cluttered with his day's work.
Today, however, he was flying his patrol, due to years of "secret" work and the sixth sense he had developed during his heroic career.
He was about to move on to the other area when he saw the clean, graceful glow of the white lightning that had haunted him and had been watching around for a while.
"I found you." His red wings opened up majestically on both sides. His wings slapped the sky and he leaped forward.
He flapped his wings a few times and came to the scene.
"Somebody call the police, there's a killer in there."
"Help me. My wife fainted."
His eyes began to move wildly. After properly analyzing the environment, he took action.
About a quarter of the canals with a few hundred, maybe a thousand feathers left their wings and entered the hotel.
The feathers that entered the hotel entered through the clothes of panicked civilians and pulled each one out. Fortunately, there were no injuries in the environment, all the people were taken out in just a few seconds.
After the feathers came out of various parts of the clothes of bewildered people, it opened a field that would separate them 10 meters from the hotel.
''Calm down. This place is mine, under Hawks control. Wait in your seats until the police arrive, and when the cops arrive, let him know what you know-" Hawks stepped between the hotel and the crowd to take control and started shouting. But before he could even finish his sentence, a man's shout diverted his attention.
"Hey, someone's falling off the roof." Hawks instantly returned to the roof. One of them was falling. He spread his wings to the sides and thrust himself up with a single flap of wings.
His wings were pushing the sky. The wind hit him in the face, his red hair was waving because of the wind. After a couple of flapping wings, the Hawks reached out to the man and grabbed him.
"Sob* Sob* Sniff* Sniff*" Hawks' eyebrow twitched. The moment he caught the man, he clung to himself like a koala, not only that, he was wiping all his mucus and saliva from his clothes while crying.
"When this is over, I have to burn the suit." Ignoring his coat and neck, which was getting wet every second, he headed for the roof
When he got to the roof, he found the one he was looking for. Or rather, he found someone he thought was the one he was looking for.
"I caught up at the last minute." Blake turned around with the voice of the person he met a few days ago. When he saw the Hawks save Yamazaki and Yamazaki crying like a baby in his arms, his intention to kill again peaked.
Blake stared at the Hawks, or rather the man in his arms. It was a nuisance to him that the man he wanted to get rid of was alive, especially in the arms of a top ten hero.
"I have to finish him off before he reveals my name." Yamazaki was in shock right now. With the emotional breakdown caused by Blake's toying with his emotions, the emotions that peaked in the last moment of his life, and the relief that came with his life being spared, he was confused and incapable of uttering any words.
He should have taken this opportunity to get rid of him. Again.
"Hey, fast guy, it's you, isn't it?'' Hawks predicted as they looked into Blake's exposed eyes. Blake's wild looks were the same as when he first met him.
There was no response. Blake's eyes were locked on Yamazaki.
"I don't understand why you're so aggressive. You're like a wild dog, don't you know how to talk?'' Hawks frowned and spoke with a strange face. He couldn't understand why Blake was so aggressive. Most bad guys weren't even that desperate.
What he didn't know was, Blake wasn't blinded. He was quite calm, just didn't want to talk to this guy and waste time. All he wanted to do was kill the guy who was clinging to him like a leech.
As Hawks and Blake looked at each other, the lightning that caused the city to shine with white light erupted from Blake's body and engulfed the entire roof. Lightning strikes shattered the hotel's windows.
Hawks soon realized what was about to happen, flapping their wings and lifting themselves into the air. This time, he wouldn't look as stupid as before. He could have lost on the ground, but the sky was in his territory, and in his territory, this guy couldn't do anything.
Whop!
His wings slapped the air, and in a single blow, he swept away from the building. His wings regularly slapped the air, keeping him in the sky. He looked at Blake. His gaze defied Blake.
Blake appeared in the area where the Hawks were a second ago. His eyes, where lightning bolts danced at excessive speed, were locked on the man in the Hawks' hands. His brain was thinking about what he could do in this situation.
It didn't take him long to find anything. He turned slightly to the side before turning into a white lane and leaving.
"He's running away, ha.'' He sighed with disappointment. He was the cause of his disappointment. A villain, now thinking that Blake was the bad guy, had met him twice and missed him both times.
"Next time I have to call someone." Hawks finally realized they couldn't beat Blake alone. The next time he met him, he decided to call someone from the top 10.
He turned his head down over Yamazaki's shoulder, who was still crying like a baby, to check that no one was where he was going to land.
His eyes widened with what he saw. He flapped his wings to avoid it, but he was too slow to escape what was coming.
Vhoş!!
A white lightning bolt ran along the hotel wall and leaped towards the Hawks when it came to equal height with the Hawks.
Without reacting, Hawks forcibly swept away the man in his arms.
"Hi... don't... don't... Bla...ke---" Yamazaki, forcibly ripped from his arms, screamed helplessly, and pleaded. He had uttered a name in a fearful tone before being overpowered by the sound of wind and lightning, but he couldn't quite hear it because of the voices around him.
Pat!!
His eyes widened as if time slowed down for him as the owner of the cold raven-black eyes took away the person he was trying to protect. He wanted to react, he wanted to do something and stop Blake, but his speed was way beyond what he could react to. His brain was having trouble processing information.
"You bastard" Hawks roared. His wings slapped the air before he followed Blake. He could not allow any civilian to die in his care. If he let it, it would be against the code of ethics he was maintaining even in those days.
That was the Hawks. He was one of the fastest pro-heroes in the market. Despite his sordid past, he swore he would protect and protect the public like his idol. Even if no one knew about it, he carved it into his heart and never broke it.
For the first time, he cursed his optimism and his habit of seeing the good in every person. He met Blake twice, and twice he tried to find the good in him and talk to him.
He hoped to understand Blake and attract this powerful Quirk to humanity. If he were on the side of heroism, he would have taken another step towards the peaceful future he was aiming for.
But from the beginning, Blake had no intention of speaking. Only the Hawks didn't notice.
Blake was floating to the ground with Yamazaki. He lined the man in front of him and put his legs on his chest.
"No... no... I don't want to die. I don't want to die!!!!!'' Yamazaki tried to grab Blake's legs. Tears streamed down his eyes from the fountain.
"The moment you hurt Nejire, you were already dead." That was the last thing he heard. Cold as the Grim Reaper's scythe, as cruel as death.
Crash! Blop! FLACCID!
There was a bloodbath when his body hit the ground. His body exploded and the blood spread everywhere, creating another mess.
Blake jumped out of his chest just when he touched the ground. When he landed safely, he started running without looking back.
Svish! Svish! Svish! Svish!
Blake stopped after overcoming dozens of feathers and turned to the Hawks, who looked at him with anger and hostility.
"So that's who you are." Blake whispered with interest as he looked at the feathers that had been thrown to kill him. The feathers the Hawks threw at him had a sharpness and clarity that no hero could have. Each of the feathers was thrown into its deadly spots with sharpened clarity for years.
No hero without a secret past could throw such sharp and deadly killing objects.
After taking one last look at the man, he turned around and disappeared with a flash.
Hawks watched Blake go. He wanted to go after him and make him pay for what he did, put him in jail, but as a pro-hero, he knew his priorities. He was supposed to stay here.
When Blake disappeared from his sight, he sighed exhaustedly.
**
Blake went back to the hospital after doing a few things.
Why did he come to the hospital? The reason he came here after all that had happened was because of the promise Nejire had made to his family.
He promised to keep Nejire safe until they came. That's why he was here. Besides, even if he didn't promise, he'd be here waiting for them to come.
When he came to the front of the room, he sat in the chair and waited.
It seemed like a long time had passed since Blake went to finish Yamazaki off, but it was 15 or 20 minutes. Nejire's parents were only a few hours away.
After a few hours of waiting, he heard agitated noises coming from his side.
"Honey, move a little faster. I want to see Nejire as soon as possible."
"Okay, I get it. But slow down a little bit, that boy told us he was safe and healthy."
"Maybe, but I want to see it with my own eyes. I won't be comfortable unless I see her with my own eyes."
Blake turned his head and saw a couple.
One of the two was a light blue-haired man with a straight back and sharp features, the wrinkles of age. He was still wearing the sailor's uniform that showed he had rushed here. He had good muscles, sharpened under his sailor uniform.
The other was a mature woman with sea snail-colored hair, like Nejire. She had slight wrinkles, but her feminine air and beautiful face made her look younger than she was.
Blake stood up as the pair walked towards him. He took a deep breath. He was going to meet Nejire's family for the first time and he had to show them a good side. There was a 99.99% chance that he and Nejire would break up, but that didn't mean he would be disrespectful to hER family.
"Mr. and Mrs. Hado." Blake came in front of the pair and reached out to Mr. Hado.
Mr. and Mrs. Hado took a glance at each other, then Mr. Hado shook Blake's hand.
"Masaki Hado, my wife Eri Hado. You must be Blake, right?''
"Yes, Mr. Hado. I'm Blake." Blake spoke with a smile on his face. He ignored Masaki's increasingly tight hands.
Masaki was surprised by Blake's reaction. This young man was tougher than he thought. Blake unwittingly had a click in his eye.
"Nejire... How's Nejire?'' Masaki bit his tongue in his wife's words. He was so focused on measuring Blake that he forgot to ask about his most precious treasure.
''Nejire is good. She's in the room right now. The last time I spoke to her was a few hours ago, she's probably awake.'' Blake pointed his head at the room. There was a hidden pain in his eyes facing the door, but the pair didn't notice.
Eri Hado left the two of them there and hurried into the room. He came to the door, after a few clicks, he entered with permission from the inside.
"Mr. Hado, if you'll let me go, I'll go." Blake smiled towards Masaki and asked permission.
"Oh, that's right. I'm sorry."' Masaki quickly withdrew his hand. He felt a little embarrassed towards this young man who treated him and his wife with respect from the beginning.
"It doesn't matter. Goodnight." Before he left, he leaned slightly towards Masaki and walked past Masaki.
**
Blake opened the door of the house. The hot air from inside patted him on the face. He took off his shoes before closing the door behind him.
It was dark inside the house, but it was not a problem for him as he knew this house like the back of his hand. Before heading towards his destination, he dropped off the sweets he had received in the kitchen and headed for his destination.
His steps caused slight clicks at home. Between the exotic smell of the forest and the pleasant smell of the soil, he climbed the stairs and headed for a room.
He came to the front of the room. He opened the door without knocking and went in.
It was warmer in there than any other part of the house. The temperature was just as high, one-click higher than the warmth, and with the smell filling his nose, it brought Blake's sleep.
Blake took off his clothes and went into the only bed in the room.
With a little rustling, the duvet was gently pushed and Blake's neck was gently wrapped with two arms. The familiar heat engulfed Blake's body. He inhaled deeply the familiar sweat and Rumi's scents
"Welcome," Rumi spoke in her sleepy voice. She put her weight on Blake's body. She put her ear to his chest and began to listen to his rhythmic heartbeat, which she liked.
One of her ears rested on his chest, the other rested on Blake's face and it was brushing his face. İt was rubbing wildly in Blake's face like a little girl welcoming the person she loved.
"Thanks.'' Blake was surprised by the warm welcome, with the edge of his lips curled up. After wrapping his arms around the bunny woman's body, he pulled her to himself and kissed her hair lightly.
Blake gently pulled Rumi to his senses and closed his eyes before falling asleep. His thoughts gradually dissipated and within minutes he fell asleep. He wasn't tired, his body was in peak form as usual.
But a lot has happened in these three days. First, Nejire's near-death, then his confession, a few worries that Yamazaki and his brought to Blake, combined with the fact that he walked around with almost zero sleep for three days, placed a great burden on his mind.
All he wanted now was to fall into a deep sleep with the enthusiasm and love of the woman in his arms.
Rumi raised his head slightly as Blake's rhythmic breathing filled the room. Her eyes, glowing with care and affection, were slightly dimmed when she saw Blake's relaxed expression. She kissed Blake on the forehead and said one thing before she went back to sleep.
"Goodnight.''
