The Unexpected Meeting

Anna was standing in front of the foreign man she found in the entrance of her corp.

She was walking with disturbed thoughts, not paying attention per habit towards anyone in the building.

This corp was made to cover up the real deal her pack was doing, and give legitimate cover in front of human authorities.

However a crisp sound of the distinctive shutter sound of a camera distracted her.

And the moment she laid her eyes over Ji Hoon, she felt a strange thing towards him... A feeling!

When her werewolf guards stopped him and harshly dealt with him, she stepped forward. She first sniffed him, and his scent didn't ring any bells.

He was a normal human, with nothing special about him at all. And yet she felt strangely attracted to him, with a vague feeling that this wasn't their first meeting.

"Is he one of your boys?" Anna asked in an arrogant tone while not giving Ji Hoon a second glance. She addressed Lucas, who had his body shivered in front of everyone.

And Lucas jumped like a scared cat and moved fast towards Anna as he deeply bowed.

"My esteemed lady, he is just a new recruiter," he said before pausing out of hesitation.

"He asked me to demonstrate my abilities in photography, and he was the one to select that angel to shoot," yet Aroon spoke and said everything Lucas couldn't.

"Shut up!" the muffled sound of Lucas came while he gritted his teeth. He was deeply terrified of Anna and very mad at Ji Hoon.

However, that didn't prevent Ji Hoon from sneering. "Ask anyone standing here, even your boys standing guard at the door," he said while looking much confident and not fazed.

"Watch your tongue," one of the guards harshly said while the other one grabbed the camera and smashed it to pieces over the ground.

"What the hell was that for?" Ji Hoon jumped like a cat had her tail stepped upon by someone. Anna watched Ji Hoon so closely and in silence.

Despite what he was doing seemed normal, something kept bothering her about him.

"If you let me, I'll deal with this matter," Lucas said without raising his head at all. His tone told everyone what he intended to do, and yet Anna raised her hand in carefree manner.

"No need," she turned to Ji Hoon before adding, "you are a good photographer, right?"

"The best!" Ji Hoon met her arrogant tone with another that made Anna raise one eyebrow.

"Pretty confident... Hmm... Alright, you'll do fine then..."

She then started to walk while her heels smashed over the pieces of Ji Hoon's camera like it was nothing. Ji Hoon noticed this and was surprised to see her able to walk with her high heels pretty fine and on top of that... the pieces she passed over were all squashed and flattened.

He knew parts of the modern cameras weren't strong like the old ones, but at least some parts still had strong resistance. And yet nothing stood in front of this lady and were all turned into tiny pieces.

"Bring him with me," Anna's voice came from the door while she didn't say more. In fact she had this sudden thought the moment she saw the camera smashed on the ground.

She rarely visited the theme park she loved in the city. And she didn't even have any recent images about that place despite it drove happiness inside her stone cold heart.

And so she thought, why not use this man here and put him to the test. If he satisfied her, then who knew? He might even be applied as her personal photographer, a position that didn't exist until now in her mind.

Lucas glared at Ji Hoon before the latter faked his uneasiness towards this assignment. Before he turned to follow the harsh push of the guards around, Liza gave him thumbs up as encouragement.

She didn't imagine that such a lady with high place in the corp would be interested in Ji Hoon. Or else her attitude would have changed at this moment.

Ji Hoon didn't like being pushed outside the building. However he was now surrounded with aggressive looking guards, and so he tried to not provoke him with words, but actions.

He ran towards the up front Anna as she stood in wait for the arrival of her personal car.

"One sec miss," he said and that one sentence made him feel much hostile gazes landing on his back from all the guards.

"I'm not a miss," Anna gazed at him from head to toe, "I believe you should know who I am by now, right?"

"Ahem," he didn't know for real who she was. "It's my first day here, so I don't know that."

"Humph, if you don't want it not to be your last day then you should step backwards and know your limits," Anna turned away and didn't give him any heed for now.

She still was bothered with her own feelings. If not for that, she would have never cared about such a human.

"But you said you want me to come with you, right?" Ji Hoon seemed not to get the hint of threat in her words before adding with a calm tone, "see... you destroyed my camera and now I can't help you with anything."

"Who said I want you to take pictures?" Anna said without looking at him.

"I'm not the guy to hook up with ladies," Ji Hoon said with a hidden meaning, "and you don't look like a lady looking for men either."

Just as he said these words, he got an instant scare. The look he got from her eyes after removing her sunglasses froze the blood inside his body.

'She isn't simple,' he thought while raising the alert sensor inside his mind about her for miles.

'He is quite rude,' she thought about him while giving him negative feedback inside her mind.
