The Last Ritual

"Are you sure this will work?" Alex stared at the girl standing in front of her and then at Reynold who was still whispering spells.

"I have not done anything like this before. So, I am not that sure. But I am trying my best." Reynold spoke in between making the circles from his blood.

His face looked a bit pale and there were many circles and marking were made around the girl. 

"There is no space for trying. This is our only chance. If we are caught. I am not sure if we both will be able to get the antidote from him." Alex's wolf was going berserk. It was on edge and wanted to take over but Alex knew that going on straight war would not be a good choice since the contender was too strong.

He ran a hand in his hair and kept silent since he did not want to create further trouble for Reynold who was already using all his powers.

His eyes turned vigilant when he heard the sound of footsteps on the other corner.
