The morning rolls on by – and Lady thinks that Weiss is starting to get fed up with being her seatmate, which, unbeknownst to her, isn't really the case. 

Second period is Civics. This was the first time they were on the same page that day. They both scowl at their Civics teacher as soon as the class begins – but for different reasons. 

She seems indifferent at first. That's until she raises her voice as loud as possible and orders, "SEATS. NOW."

"Mrs. Verosica," Weiss muttered under his breath while Lady huffed as if agreeing with his hostile tone.

Thirty minutes into the discussion, and she finally decided to pass a note to him – just like what they did during the first day of class. She was glad that he wrote a reply and passed it back. 'That means he's not really mad at me, right?' she thought. 

Mrs. Verosica was a retired soldier.
