Elimination

Leo sighed as he got into position.

He didn't make any moves all too quickly, he first wanted to observe for an hour or so before making his move.

There was no harm in it, usually he would go for the quick and easy way of quickly killing the camera operator, but if he got caught he would be in big trouble since he was in a enclosed space.

So for the next hour Leo didn't do anything but observe all the guards near him and the surrounding.

After a hour, Leo was satisfied with what he had learned.

Most guards that were on patrol had a fixed movement pattern, it differentiated a bit every now and then but generally, it was the same.

Then there were static guards, guards that did not move.

Using all of the information Leo got over the hour, he planned the perfect time to take out the camera operator, no one would notice him missing if he did it quick enough, and he had a time window of two minutes to do it.

The time window was exactly when the second guard with a fixed movement pattern passed him and rounded the corner, so Leo waited.

Leo knocked on the security door when the second guard passed him.

After a bit of scrambling a voice was heard from the inside.

"What's the problem?"

"Emergency, open the door." said Leo.

There was silence for a while before the door could be heard unlocking.

The moment the door unlocked Leo stepped into the room before closing it.

"So what's i-"

The camera operator didn't get to finish his sentence as Leo had already shapeshifted his hand into a blade and pierced the man's throat.

Gurgling could be heard as the body of the man collapsed on the body, looking toward Leo with shocked eyes.

Leo didn't bat an eye upon seeing the man's expression, he was already more than used to this.

Killing became normal for him, he hated himself because of it since he used to be strongly against it.

Leo checked his clothes if any blood was on it and luckily there wasn't.

He waited until the man died before stuffing him under the security desk and taking a look at the PC.

He made sure to turn off all cameras and deleted all footage recorded in the past 2 days.

After that was done Leo got up and left the room.

Now he was consequence-free as long as he didn't get caught by a bunch of guards at the same time.

Leo had learned previously that his target was staying in the study, 2 static guards were outside and there was a guard in the study.

However, Leo also had some different plans.

He wanted to wipe the entire mansion out so that he could search for any hidden wealth and such.

Another reason why Leo took this job was since he was dealing with an extremely rich person, he could probably recover a decent amount of money.

However, he would need to kill a lot of guards in order to be able to calmly search the building.

He wanted to wipe out the entire mansion although he already knew it would not be possible.

After a bit of thinking, Leo made up his mind.

He would be visiting three primary locations and clearing them of guards.

And those locations would be the study, bedroom and cigar lounge.

These would be the locations where the most amount of wealth would probably be located after all.

Leo took a deep breath and walked out of the security room.

His first target would be the cigar lounge, as it was downstairs.

He walked with confidence toward the cigar lounge noticing that there was only one guard outside of it.

He assumed that there would also be one inside so he was careful.

The problem was, using his gun wasn't an option. Even if it was suppressed it would still be way too loud.

At the same time, Leo had the luck that there was only one person actively patrolling around the cigar lounge, meaning that Leo could take him out before taking out the guard in front of the lounge.

"Time to get serious!"
