Little Li's Stories

Xue Luli went into her children's room and changed their wardrobes. Honestly, the children had all outgrown their clothes and didn't have new ones since Xue Luli was spending all the money on herself.

After putting everything in place, she mistakenly hit a little box. The box fell on the floor and it opened. Xue Luli picked up the box and saw a notebook inside it. It had the name 'Little Li' on it, so it belonged to Lu Li.

Xue Luli opened the book and saw a title ' The Three Little Rabbits ' And ' Seven Dresses '

The story titled ' The Three Little Rabbits ' was about three little rabbits who slept and woke up just to find out that their mother was gone. They searched for her everywhere but they couldn't find her. They missed all the love and warmth she always gave them. They dreamt of experiencing it once again. They didn't stop searching. Whether it was spring, summer or winter, they continued their search. One day, they finally met their mother but she no longer cared for them. All the love they thought they would get once they found their mother went down the drain. Their mother didn't care about them anymore and one day, she left for good. That was how the story ended.

The story of the ' Seven Dresses ' was about a five year old girl who stumbled across a magical fairy. The fairy gave her a red dress to wear on Monday, an orange dress for Tuesday, a yellow dress for Wednesday, a green dress for Thursday, a blue dress for Friday, an indigo dress for Saturday and a violet dress for Sunday. The little girl wore the dresses throughout that week. When she wore them, she looked like a little princess and everyone would praise her. As Sunday left to usher in Monday, the little girl cried a bucket of tears because all her dresses had disappeared.

As Xue Luli read these stories, her heart and her eyes felt very heavy. This wasn't a made up story but it was Lu Li's life. The beginning of her stories started with tear drops and it ended with them. It broke Xue Luli's heart that her daughter couldn't tell anyone what she was feeling. Luckily, she found a way to express those feelings, rather than keeping it in. She put the the notebook back inside the box and placed the box back where it had fallen off.

...

Xue Luli went downstairs and saw the children eating their breakfast.

"How is it?" Xue Luli asked

"It is very good" Little Xi said happily as his face lit up. He seemed to have remembered something which made his face looked sad. This was probably the last time they were ever going to eat a sandwich. Forget about sandwich, this was probably the last time they were ever going to eat breakfast again. The other kids seemed to know what Little Xi was thinking. Their mood went down as well.
