Spear Of Heaven Descends… Or It Was Supposed To

Have you ever experienced doing something that's not really that bad and your parents would have understood why you have committed it and all, eventually forgiving you if you only stopped at doing that?

Then, for some reason, you thought that you were already too far deep and decided to dig a hole for yourself to die in?

(Shun's POV)

"What I want to be when I grow older? Umm… I already own a business like my Mom so that's already crossed out. What else? I already have many money so that's out of the question already as well…"

I am currently inside Koro-sensei's classroom, taking the career guidance of Koro-sensei. Pochi, Tama, Mutsuko, Rokuko, and the others already went before me and the only one who's yet to submit their papers was, I guess, Nagisa-san.

The only reason why it took me so long was because I have no idea what else I could do in life other than enjoy it to the fullest.

'Maybe trying to become a God is also an option?' I thought to myself jokingly.

"This is why I hate winners in life…" I certainly heard that loud and clear but, let's pretend I didn't.

"What was it, Koro-sensei?"

"Ah, no. I mean, certainly there is something that you could pursue. Something that even your mom couldn't do?"

"Something my Mom couldn't do? Is there one?" Hmm… I need to think about this more deeply.

"I guess my current goal in life is to become more successful and earn enough money so that my parents no longer have to work…"

"That sounds like a pretty normal thing to aim for as a kid. However, hmm… Given your family background, I think that will be a lot harder to achieve…" Koro-sensei went silent for a moment before saying.

"No matter what you do, don't forget your roots. I have been watching all of you during the time you are all under my care, and sensei know that you've been going through some changes mentally. I am happy to see that you have finally resolved that by yourself. Sensei is proud…"

"Haha… Thank you, sensei. It was hard to sort things out myself but, through the help of my friends, I managed to do so."

We talked for a few more minutes about the more trivial things like what he would do after we graduate from this class but…

"Didn't I say it already? I can't wait to be assassinated by you, my students." So he's still saying that, huh. I wonder what he would think when his reason for living gets back?

"Say, sensei. What would you do when your loved one gets revived?"

"Nyu-huhuhu. What are you saying, Shirakami-kun? This is real life. There's no way something so absurd as someone going back to life is going to happen…"

"So is a yellow bipedal octopus coming to life. It's maybe just as absurd, especially when you think of how they managed to create an infinite source of Anti-matter through it."

Once I said that, Koro-sensei looked at me with a serious look on his face.

"What are you trying to imply, Shirakami-kun?"

"Well, all I'm saying is, don't give up on life yet? There are many people here who genuinely likes you and I hope that we wouldn't be the last people who you could help out…"

Taking my papers from the desk, I got up and left the room. On my way out, I came across Nagisa-san who's also holding the same form as mine.

"It's your turn, Nagisa-san."

"Ah, thank you, Shun-kun."

Looking over my shoulder, I saw Nagisa-san sit on the chair in front of Koro-sensei's table. Closing the door, I went back home.

Later, the enemy's plans will commence, and we have to be ready to finally take care of this problem once and for all.

It's been a few months since our 'To The Moon' plan have commenced. We managed to successfully hijack the satellite that was containing all of the data that the world have about the antimatter research and, through the help of Ritsu, we got all of the data from there as well as edit its contents.

Shiro is already out of the picture so, with the last remaining pieces of data that they have corrupted, time will slowly bury this study down under. With our company introducing more ways to use the energy resources that we have on hand more efficiently, less and less people would even think of using antimatter as an energy source.

Take for example, we introduced how thorium is a much more stable and better alternative than Uranium powered Nuclear Power Plants. It produces less nuclear wastes and, overall, it's a lot more easier to find.

Then, there's the more efficient solar panels that we have 'invented'. There is also a transparent version of it as well that could absorb the energy coming from the lights inside the spectrum that humans couldn't see.

Honestly, it's more efficient than any solar panel they could ever create in the upcoming 200 or so years. There's also pavegen, which is now all over Japan's train stations and the more densely populated areas and busy streets, but the world is just taking notice of it now.

Anyway, with the rising popularity of these technologies all over the world, so long as they remove their highly inefficient power plants and power sources and replace them with the things that our company is making, I think this world would advance at a rapid pace. I'm actually thinking of also running a Power Grid that uses hydrogen as the source of powe but, that's still in the developmental stages.

If my company continues to gain traction and buzz, I think that it wouldn't take long for the green hydrogen(hydrogen that could be made through renewable energy and/or low carbon power) to become a huge market that could supply around 25-30% of the world's energy needs. I'm extremely positive about this, especially when talks about Global Warming and stuff is starting to gain popularity.

Arriving at our house, I checked my phone and saw that it was already 8:02 on the evening. As for the date…

"Hmm… It's March 6, huh. I guess it's about time that they make a move?" Opening the door to our house, I saw that each and every member of our [Group Chat] is already present, even the new ones.

Seeing them all gathered together here, it made me realize just how big our group has become all of the sudden. In just one quest, we went from a total of 8 members to 11, plus the System Fairy in training, Ritsu.

As soon as I opened the door, Tsuka, Pochi, and Tama came running towards me.

"Squeak~! Master~!"

"It's Master [Admin-sensei] nodesu!"

"Elcome home~!"

"You're late, Shun-kun. Karasuma-sensei just called those guys from their HQ so their plan should be starting anytime soon…" Mutsuko-san said.

"Did he go home already? That was fast." I said while getting my welcome home hug from the three.

"Yeah, he went home already, Shun. Hey, is it time for us to blow up that huge thingy on space?" Rokuko asked excitedly.

"Later, Rokuko. We need to follow the plan or else, that black cockroach hiding around the corner will not take the bait…"

Upon hearing me call our target that, Yukiko-san showed a slightly surprised expression.

"Eh, black cockroach? You're talking about the current [Shinigami], right, Shun-kun?"

"Sounds appropriate to call him that to me. He's so good at hiding around the corners and crevices of the world…" Rinka-san commented.

"Hahaha… That's true." Touka-san said, agreeing with Rinka-san.

All of them are already wearing the military uniforms that we used during our team deathmatch game, ready to commence our plans.

"Anyway, I'll go and get myself changed first. You girls know that plan already, right?"

""Yes—nanodesu!""

"Yep, we just need to ready some things and we should be good to go…" Mutsuko replied.

"I will be calling everyone then." Ritsu said.

Without even needing for me to give instructions, they all went ahead and did the remaining preparations that we still needed to do. For those who didn't have much to do, they waited at the table and ate some snacks.

(Third Person's POV)

After receiving the report from Karasuma, the person with the highest authority amongst all of the people inside the control room adjusted his glasses and said.

"You all heard the man… Tonight, March 6, just as we planned, we will move forward to our final assassination…" A few minutes later, the man order for the first phase of the plan to comments.

Without missing a beat, a huge beam of red light descended from up above as it hit the Class 3-E building directly. This is the Spear of Heaven, modeled after the tortoise and powered by antimatter life forms, which was further amplified by a giant particle accelerator.

It's laser could pass through obstacles, liquefying only those tentacles, which is their targets. The world leaders had a hard time making this as all of the people from all over the world are watching all of the moves that they do.

After the creation of this [Spear of Heaven], however, they believe that they could finally get rid of the creature that brought them so much bad luck over this year. They all know that making this structure was them further digging their own graves but, who cares about it at this point?

Their reputations are already in shambles and killing this tentacle creature is, to them, the only thing that they could do to recover it. Of course, not all of the world leaders joined in this venture as a minority of them backed out.

Those people who backed out warned those who chose to continue about the backlash that they will receive if they were to go through with this plan but, at this point, nobody really cares about it anymore. So long as they eliminate their target, with a little manipulation on the media and information, people should be able to forget what happened here.

"How is it? Did it hit?" The man asked as he confidently stood there, waiting for a report.

After checking the footages that they have, however, they noticed that they didn't even managed to scratch Koro-sensei.

『Nyu-huhuhu. Are you guys from the government watching? Can't you make a laser that could travel faster than the speed of light? You'll need that to hit me~!』

At the video feed, they could see Koro-sensei's entire face that is now covered with green colored rings.

"You tentacle monster… Hmph, gloat while you still can, then. Proceed to phase 2 of our plan."

At the man's command, orange beams was released coming from all directions, creating a huge barrier that encapsulated the whole mountain where Class 3-E's classroom is. At the video feed, there was Koro-sensei who is now trapped inside the barrier, unable to get out.

『Sh******t! This is bad… This barrier, it could cut my tentacles!』

The man was satisfied after seeing Koro-sensei's defeated looking expression but, he thought, it all doesn't end here.

"Bring out our special secret weapon. So long as we kill this creature, we could handle the fallout that would happen next. The media is a very good platform for us to use to manipulate all of those people and make them forget about this incident eventually…"

As the man was talking, he suddenly heard someone chuckle, followed by the sound of someone clapping.

『Pfft!』

*clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

"Who's there!?"

"Sir, this is bad! All of the networks that we have all over the world has been hacked and our actions was being broadcasted all over the world since we started to commence our plans!"

『Man, you guys really dug yourselves a whole that you could no longer recover from by your own free will. Although I couldn't really assassinate you guys for real, I guess we were successful in making all of you and your leaders die… Socially, that is.』

"W-What… did you say…?"

『Hmm… To make it clear, we have been monitoring you all ever since and we know what you guys have been up to. We were just gathering enough evidence to bring you all down at once since it's kind of a hassle to do that one by one, you see…』

"H-How could… How could this be…"

『No need to be so sad though. You guys actually helped us this time by going yolo and all. With this, everyone in the world, even those at the very corners of it, knows what you guys have been up to.』 After a brief pause, the voice continued.

『We already cured all of those who have been experimented on by Shiro so you can't put the blame on him alone anymore. Just to clean your reputation, you experimented on people who are serving your countries. How low have you guys fallen, really?』
