"Marry me," Vincent suddenly proposed after knowing the Hamiltons were witches. He knew there was something odd about the family but never thought they would be witches all along. It solved the mystery of why they were taking children off the street. Children were a prime target for witch rituals.

Aurora was deeply confused by his sudden proposal. She wasn't expecting this after letting Vincent know the Hamiltons were witches. What about that made him want to propose to her? "I don't like saying this to creatures like us but have you gotten too old? Is there something wrong with your hearing?"

"There is nothing wrong with my hearing, Aurora. Now that I know that they are witches, I see how much riskier revenge on them will be. We both have our own wars to fight and there is a chance any of us can get hurt. Before our lives become crazy, I wish for you to marry me."
