"This is so childish," Aurora muttered, opening the door to step outside. She had to get better control of her actions instead of running away when standing before Vincent or he would get the wrong idea and tease her again. "I'm acting like the girls back home when they see a palace guard."

"As you should," came Vincent's words right beside her which startled her once more.

Aurora placed her hand on her chest, calming down her racing heart. Was he planning to give her a heart attack by scaring her all the time? Why couldn't he announce his arrival or make sounds with his feet while he walked? It would've been a better idea to go on this tour with Mari.
