Qiao Xi looked at him curiously. Gu Zheng pursed his lips and just said, "There was no such thing."

Qiao Xi was puzzled. "What?"

Gu Zheng turned to look at her and said word by word, "I never promised to take care of Shen Ying."

Qiao Xi nodded. Whether Gu Zheng had promised Shen Ying or not did not matter to her as long as the two did not disgust her.

Seeing her patronizing look, Gu Zheng frowned and asked, "You don't believe me?"
