Surprising himself, Grant swore he wouldn’t be the one to drag her into it. His usually steady moral compass seemed to be merrily spinning in the wind since meeting Rafael. He reached into his pocket to get a business card for the girl and touched the flash drive. Should he let her try? Maybe she could find where the mysterious omega auction house was. He pulled out the drive. “This is what Rafael was going to decrypt. It might give me a clue where to look for him.”

Her face brightened, and she thrust out her hand. “Gimme. This I can do.”

He handed the drive to her, and she went to work, looking like a focused professional now. Grant watched in silence, hoping she was as good as Rafael seemed to think she was.

Twenty-five minutes later, she turned to him and grinned. “Got it. What am I looking for?”

“Where are the omegas sent when they go into heat? I need an address—now.” Worry had made his tone harsher than he’d intended.
