Of course, an argument was bound to happen. Master Deng knew very well that Master Xiu and Master Sang were trying to skip work again. 

These two mers were used to being served by servants but in this drought, how could their family support servants? 

It was good enough if they would support themselves. Thus, Master Xiu and Master Sang who were not used to working were now pushing all the work on Master Deng.
