Chapter 90 - The press conference

Altren walked over to the press conference desk someone had arranged for him. It was a single chair with a few hundred mikes attacked to it. He sat down to his dismay all the mikes were too big that they almost hid his face.

Sighing, he stood up, picking up only one mike. "please connect this with the audio system in the meeting room. Is that okay with everyone? I don't feel comfortable talking to you all with my face hiding by this bouquet of mikes,"

The reporters chuckled and agreed with his idea.

Soon his sound system was okay. Altren glanced at the hundred or so reporters silently watching him. he simply picked up the flash cards. "I was told to follow the script.." he announced with a laugh.

One of the reporters lifted his hands up. "Are you being forced to oust your hero identity,"

"Oh no. I am more than willing. These cards are just in case I mess up this meeting," he sheepishly grinned/
