"Okay, let me begin the long story."

Ernesto fixed himself on Fetahaya's lap while he opened his ears to Gia's story.

"Supreme god Jodin used the world tree to create a bunch of races. First, from its fruits, the first pair of divine races were born. But the divine race had wings and left the world tree the moment they were born, so it made the world tree sad and never gave birth to another divine race. But that race survived because they could reproduce on their own. The next race were the elves. The first elves came from the trunk of the world tree, but the world tree didn't feel pleased with the elves either. At first they were great companions for the gigantic tree, but trouble happened after they started mating with other races, and some of them wanted something material."

"What's wrong with wanting something? Is the world tree self-centered?"
