A massive moon leapt out of the dark clouds and rose slowly outside the window.

Moonlight spilled in, like the tide rushing towards the shore, enveloping the entire factory in the cold, watery light of the moon. The shadow of the window pane cast across Bi Fang's face as he sat in silence, tilting his head up to meet the moonlight.

Though beautiful, he would have preferred the moon to keep sleeping at this moment.

Moonlight would reveal more traces.

Matthew swallowed, his breathing slightly heavy but soon held back. He looked around, even out of the window.

The entire city was dark; no lights, no fires—there was only him and Bi Fang left.

Matthew found it strange, as he had thought his news would shock Bi Fang, or at the very least elicit some reaction. The seriousness of Bi Fang right now had even made Matthew think those two had returned.
