Kai shook his head and brought his mind back to the situation at hand. He had already considered the possibility of fighting something powerful on this trip, so he was adamant about bringing Fu Huang along. However, this creature was at [Grade-4], making it an impossible ask for Kai and Fu Huang, so their only option here was to flee.

Kai Qi-enhanced his legs and used all the strength he had to leap out of the cave. The Skeleton seemed to notice this and moved quickly. Before Kai could leave the cave, it grabbed him by his left foot and threw him back down to the ground.

Kai landed with a loud crash but was relatively unscathed, thanks to his scales.

"It won't let us escape?..." Kai mumbled as he looked at Fu Huang, who was pulling himself out of a pile of rubble. Around him was a faint blue aura, showing that he had protected himself with Qi.
