"HAVE you calmed down?" Tian Zi asked as he continued to hug Fyre like he did that day when they'd found out what had happened. It was a day like any other day when his sister and Jonathan had decided to go on a 3 day vacation. That day, no one knew what exactly happened, …but everything had happened so suddenly, …and no one had anticipated it.

He could still remember that day as if it were just yesterday. Fyre was at his secret rundown warehouse that his sister didn't know about. He'd thought that since his sister was away to have fun, he could take this chance to enjoy his day in leisure as well without worrying. As usual, he'd busied himself with his computer, while also awaiting the results of his latest hobby he'd pick up, when he heard his phone ringing. He remembered not bothering to pick it up as he looked at Mo Tian Zi's caller ID.

He had been annoyed with the Alpha for days and he didn't want to talk to him so he ignored the call. Tian Zi seemed to have gotten the message, as the calls had stopped, but Tian Zi had been persistent and instead turned to knocking at his door 20 minutes later. Reluctantly Fyre answered the door, fully unaware of the dreadful news Tian Zi would bring.

"Hmn. I'm fine, thank you. I-I'm sorry as well," Fyre replied and quickly wiped the single tear that had dropped beside his eye before gently pushing Tian Zi away from their hug. Even though the man was annoying sometimes, he couldn't help but blush feeling the Alpha's body against him. There had been a lot of times when this body had comforted him like this but today, he just wanted to be alone.

"Nah, it's fine. I just forget how sensitive you are most of the time," Tian Zi replied and although his words were true, he sounded kinda like he was mocking Fyre. A glare quickly flashed on the Omega's face before he crossed his arms and looked at the unconscious Jonathan on the floor.

"Take him and get him out of here already. You two are just taking me and my boyfriend's precious time together," Fyre said as an excuse, to which Tian Zi nodded with a little laugh. He knew that what the Omega meant by his "boyfriend" was his human-sized pillow that had a half-naked cartoon character printed on it.

"Yeah Yeah, sure," Tian Zi only replied before he swiftly grabbed Jonathan's arm and swung his unconscious body to his back, without batting an eye, despite the Alpha's weight. He'd probably already overstayed his welcome, plus he also has a visitor at his place that he should not leave for long. It was best for him to leave already knowing that Fyre was fine and unscathed.

"Call me if anything happens," Tian Zi briefly said, to which Fyre only replied with a slight nod and watched the two Alphas disappear before his eyes as they went inside the elevator. Moments later, he could hear his front door open with the loud beep it made, making him sigh a huge relief.

"I should change my passcode," Fyre mumbled to himself, rubbing his face with his palm as he once again remembered Jonathan's drunkard words. They were the words of a drunk person, but he didn't know whether he should believe them or not.

"Argh! Fyre you're crazy," Fyre convinced himself, almost wanting to pull his own hair.

|'R-Remi... I'm s-sorry... I'm so s-sorry,' Jonathan mumbled, suddenly hugging Fyre from the back as he sat on his chair facing his computer. He didn't know when or how the Alpha had arrived considering his drunk condition, but Jonathan was already there and half unconscious.

'What are you talking about you bastard!?' Fyre heaved a huge sigh before he asked, unwrapping the Alpha's arms from around him and planning to help him to the bed. The Jonathan he was seeing now was barely able to stand up straight in his condition. His noble demeanor was gone at this moment, he was simply a wrecked man who drank himself past his limit.

'F-Fyre? Is that you? I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I-I I couldn't help it, …I couldn't help falling for you. I-I tried...but I couldn't help it. I-I broke her heart, s-she left with a broken heart. I'm sorry, s-sorry,' Hearing Fyre's voice, Jonathan's eyes widened briefly before a soft but sad smile flashed on his lips. Jonathan held Fyre's face to make sure and when he was sure, he hugged the Omega again before he continued to apologize. Fyre was about to burst out, annoyed, however as soon as he heard the Alpha's last words, he froze in shock. It took a good couple of seconds before he was able to wake up from his stunned condition to push Jonathan.

'W-What nonsense are you talking about? L-Let go me,' Fyre squeaked, but he suddenly lost his footing and fell onto the bed, …with the Alpha on top of him.

'G-Get off of me! Get off of me now!" Fyre yelled as he struggled, tears already dripping at the side of his eyes until he started crying and it was not until he realized that Jonathan had fainted on top of him that he calmed down and stopped crying. |

Lying on his bed, picking up his pillow boyfriend, Fyre tried to shake off what Jonathan had told him earlier. Those were just his drunkard words. 'That's probably not true,' Fyre thought as he continued to convince himself. In the beginning, he had truly hated Jonathan, just as much as he'd hated Mo Tian Zi, but as time passed, he'd learned and realized they weren't really as bad as he thought they would be before he'd met them. They'd started hanging out and helping each other, that in a span of a year without realizing, they had become what you call "friends."

He'd thought everything was fine, alas, it seems like part of that time wasn't. If what Jonathan said was somehow true, then when did it start? When did everything start to turn?

"Remi, do you really like him? What if you find out that he was not the person you thought he was?" Fyre asked, laying in the same bed as his older sister, like they always did when they were kids.

"Fyre, I don't why you're asking this again, but whether he has a different identity or not, I will accept him no matter what or who he is," Remi replied softly. Jonathan was younger than her by a few years, but that did not hinder their relationship. She could feel Jonathan's affection towards her, not to mention the Alpha respected all her decisions despite his playful personality.

"Are you sure? What if he was a Prince in another country?" Fyre asked again, raising one of his brows. Although Jonathan was not a Prince, he was still a nobleman who had a similar tradition to that of a Prince. Even if Jonathan Wood truly loved his sister, the Wood household would have a say in it. They were simply not meant for each other. Their worlds were completely apart, and he was afraid that this fact would hurt his sister considering Jonathan was the man she had given her heart fully.

"Well, aren't I lucky if he was? A commoner like me will become a Princess," Remi replied between her giggles thinking her little brother was exaggerating.

"Remi, I'm not kidding. What would you do if he turned out to be one?" Fyre said in a serious manner that quickly erased Remi's giggles.

"Fyre, I love Jonathan. And as long as he loves me back, I will fight for our love. It does not matter if he's a Prince or not," Remi replied earnestly before she brought her palms to Fyre's head and smiled. The last time she remembered seeing Fyre was when he was still a teenager. She couldn't believe all those years when this little brother of hers went missing that it had suddenly turned him into an adult. Something inside her felt somewhat regretful; she had missed the times when her little brother would come running towards her whenever something happened, big or small.

"Why are you saying that? It's as if he doesn't love you back, I'm going to castrate that man if he ever hurts you," Fyre frowned, making Remi giggle again.

"I hope he does love me back. If he doesn't, I won't hold him back," Remi simply replied. In the beginning, she had been surprised that a man like Jonathan had fallen for her, even though she was not anything special. She wasn't pretty. She was not smart, nor rich. By any chance, she was already grateful that she got to experience how it felt to be in love and that it had even lasted for such a long time.

"Remi, why are you such a nice person? Are we really related? If I were you I would at least rip one limb before he could get away from me," Fyre roared this time, earning more giggles from Remi.

"Fyre, you're a good kid as well but we love in different ways... Anyways, let's not talk about this anymore. I am more interested in how your work along with Mo Tian Zi is progressing. Should I expect the company to debut this year?" Remi replied softly. Although she would be lying if she said it wouldn't hurt her, her words were genuine. She had already done it for Ethan and Veronica before, she could do it again if ever the situation happened with Jonathan.

"Hmmm, it's working pretty well but I doubt it will be this year. We're working on a lot of things. There are too many ideas in that bastard's head and we're slowly making everything possible," Fyre replied, ignoring the fact that his sister purposely avoided their previous topic.

"I'm so proud of you, Fyre. Even though it might be too much at times, I hope you can continue to be friends with him. He's a promising man, with you around him, I'm assured you'll be fine," Remi said and rubbed Fyre's hair. Fyre became silent, his mind still on the fact that Jonathan still hasn't revealed his identity. But then he chose to let it go and decided to let fate run its own course. He was just happy that everything seemed to be fine and that Remi was happy. That was the most important.

"Whatever. Anyway, are you truly sure you're not sleeping with him tonight?"

"Yeah, he told me to be with you tonight since he was going to be late. Tian Zi had a work for him to do," Remi replied, to which Fyre highly doubted but he nodded anyway and at last decided to rest.
