Chapter 30 Wind

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

In a secluded area, two bullets flew towards Arch aimed at his head and knee. Seeing this Arch simply smirked, a violent wind intercepting the two bullets throwing them completely off course. A few seconds later a large eagle swopped down on him its claws slashing towards his face.

Arch in response pointed his tiger like claw at the eagle shooting a small gust of powerful wind blowing the eagle away. Just as it seemed Arch had dealt with all threats two other gun shots resounded, this time directly hitting Arch in the spine and his right shoulder.

"THWINK! THWINK!"

As if hitting solid metal the bullets simply collapsed on contact with Arch. "Hahaha, that was a good spar, seems I wasn't overestimating my haki." He chuckled as his tiger like features receded leaving him looking like a regular person once again.

"I must say you truly do deserve to be King." William replied as he wiped dust off his clothes, that wind had sent him tumbling quite a bit. "Haki seems useful." Cort noted the two twins appearing from the surrounding trees.

"Indeed it is, unfortunately its not the easiest thing to learn." Arch muttered as he began to have flashbacks. 'That was the most embarrassing moment of my entire life, including my past life.' Arch sighed in dismay pitying his past self.

"Well anyway, if that's all we should get out of here, good luck your Majesty." William said before the trio left the small patch of forest. 'Spars are indeed enjoyable, but there's not much challenge on this part of the sea, although my haki is lacking in reality the best way to train it is through constant battle either way I still have a long way to go.'

With that Arch transformed into his half beast mode and began gathering wind around him. At this point Arch had familiarised himself with his devil fruit, from being able to propel himself with wind to using it as a foothold, even compressing it to form powerful attacks he was quite clear on what he could do.

'Its unfortunate that I can only control wind as of now, but I suspect there should at least be a metal type move in my arsenal, after all Kaido's Seiryuu fruit should be considered the Byakko's equal to an extent and it had not only fire, and lightning but also wind control albeit not as strong as mine....' Arch deliberated as more and more wind was gathering around him.

"Alas, Kaido is still quite far away I'll go after him at some point though." The young man chuckled as he suddenly began to levitate. After about a minute of hovering in the air, Arch moved forwards hurtling through the trees before falling about half a minute later.

Getting up from the dirt and dusting himself off Arch had a smile on his face. "So flying is possible although the strain is quite high. I'll probably utilise Air Platforms for aerial combat and use this for a final devastating attack..... what should I call this? Wind Propelled Flight? Should I go all xianxia and call it Giving a Tiger Wings?" He laughed as he pondered on a name.

Sure Arch liked giving attacks names but he wasn't some chuuni who would start shouting out his attacks mid-combat, unless he had to show off of course.

Currently in his arsenal Arch had 6 moves, Compressed Wind Bullet, Gale Claw, Compressed Wind Canon, Air Platforms, Gale Boost, and Omnidirectional Wind Barrage now with the new move he had 7. In reality Arch could naturally utilise his wind control in more ways but he didn't feel they constituted making a new move even Wind Bullet and Wind Canon were toeing the line in his opinion.

"I am not sure, I guess I'll name it later." Arch muttered before making his way out of the forest. If he was being honest, Arch was quite confident in his devil fruit abilities at least in Paradise, these days he wanted to increase his haki abilities so he had been sparring with the Kuja a bit. (feel free to suggest a name in a paragraph comment if you want, if you guys don't have any ideas I'll just name it in one of the following chapters)

Although the Kuja on Tigria weren't the strongest there were they were still stronger than most of the soldiers, while the likes of Apollo, William and Kaf could defeat the average Kuja tribeswoman they still couldn't beat the strongest Kuja women who had taken part in the Exchange Program.

At least this is what Arch though, then again he hadn't seen Kaf fight in a few months at this point but he was very clear on Apollo and William's strengths.

Arriving at the Kuja residences Arch soon found a sparring partner. "So its the King, sure why not." One of them said as they got up to spar Arch. This was obviously one of the strongest Kuja who had taken part in the Exchange Program otherwise they'd be defeated by Arch extremely quickly.

Soon after they began their spar. The woman punched towards Arch aiming towards his face and in response Arch lightly punched towards the woman's fist, both of their attacks coated in haki.

"Boom."

A small shockwave spread out from clash, taking a step back the woman twisted her body and set her foot flying towards Arch's head. Ducking Arch swept his leg at her hitting her on the ankle causing her to lose balance.

Immediately she lightly hopped off her leg and spun a bit in the air, this was obviously a big opening but Arch didn't take it, he wasn't here to win the spar simply to train his haki. "Again." Arch voiced as they locked eyes. "As you wish." She replied sending her fist flying towards Arch once again.

Like this Arch spent his time. From doing his paperwork while Ugo and Cort studied Vinci's journals, to proposing new ideas. On the rare occasion he might have to oversee a trial, and when he could he would spar a bit training his haki and devil fruit when possible.

Now, the day had arrived when the Exchange Program would be ending, and the Kuja would be sent back to Amazon Lily. In this time a number of soldiers had finally learnt basic Armament Haki, numbering about 7 along with Apollo and William on top of that, for a total of 9 new citizens with capable of using haki in Tigria needless to say Arch considered this a success.

'Haaa how unfortunate if possible I would have liked them to stay a tad longer maybe we gain 2 or 3 more people who can use haki either way at least now there's sufficient people to train the rest of the soldiers.' Arch sighed as he gazed at the Perfume Yuda in the distance, either way he was going to have to make a trip to the East Blue so this aligned perfectly in a sense.

Behind him stood a number of soldiers along with the Kuja, they were saying their goodbyes before they departed, one soldier in particular seemed to look like his heart was breaking. '.....Don't tell me they got up to mischief while they were here.' Arch shook his head, well it was to be expected to some extent.

"Don't worry brother, while you're gone I'll defend the Kingdom properly, I won't fail again." Apollo swore as he looked towards Arch. "I believe in you, besides with William staying behind I am pretty confident in our Kingdom's strength." Arch replied looking towards the man.

Although Tigria was much stronger than it was before Arch had decided to leave William behind on this next expedition, while he was the leader and William did indeed want to tag along he agreed that protecting the Kingdom at least for now would be a better use of his strength.

A few minutes later the Perfume Yuda docked and the Kuja, along with the Expedition Team made their way to the ship. "You mind if we tag along?" Arch asked as he locked eyes with the Pirate Empress. "Hmmm? Why should I?" This question opened a whole other can of worms.
