Chapter 36

The casino was its own separate battlefield, Joe didn't see anyone (alive) and half of the room was shrouded in darkness with the lights sparking.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are," the voice was taunting. Joe and Caroline took cover on a row of slot machines, Joe looked out toward the direction of the voice and saw a vampire man, he was shirtless and had blood covering his six-pack abs. This vampire, he knew from the red room, the one that had almost bitten into him. When he looked past the vampire he saw more vampires in the room, they were sniffing about, trying to find a scent.

Joe looked back to Caroline who was wide-eyed and very confused, she was caught in the grip of fear Joe could see, he put a hand on her shoulder to calm her. He heard the sniffing again then he was reminded of the inodorant in his pocket, he pulled it out and began rubbing it together in his hands.

"What are you doing?" she whispered.
