With the beast losing its sight, Austin took the chance to attack the beast as he charged forward with his sword glowing in a green light before slashing at the snake as it let out a painful hiss before swinging its tail randomly. By now Jason has already adjusted to the brightness as he also begins to attack the snake.

From one slash to another followed by a stab, they were able to inflict some damage to the snake but it didn't take the snake that much before it gained its sight back as it let out a loud hiss before lunging at them at a powerful speed.

With the snake gaining its sight back, it just felt like they had gone back to square one as they switched to defending themselves against the attack. But even with all their preparation, they still failed to protect themselves against the attack as they were both slammed into a nearby tree.
